    Which Gophers will transfer?

All Gophers will transfer. The Regents have voted to shutdown basketball at UMN. There is no hope.

    If the current guys stay....

Everyone is leaving. The basketball program is being shut down. Men's Volleyball and Swimming are the future at UMN.

Treyton Thompson has officially entered the transfer portal

The sky has fallen. There is no hope. We live in the Apocalypse Now. Our savior from Alexandria has abandoned us. No one wants to live in this cesspool of a State. Even the cockroaches have moved out. No hope. No future.

It’s Time for Coyle to hit F#€k it!

It's over. We can go the way of the University of Chicago. Cut all sports from the University of Minnesota. There is no hope.

It’s Time for Coyle to hit F#€k it!

Yep, we have to end the basketball program. It is and always will be the Boston College of the B1G. It's time to support our Men's and Women's swimming and diving program. Basketball doesn't exist at UMN.

Disappointing. It's hard not to compare the University of Minnesota to Boston College, which just seems impossible to change. Perhaps we just shut down the program, accept our losses, and move on to become the dominant swimming and diving University in the B1G. It doesn't matter who is coach. No...

Former Gopher basketball player and MN legend Bud Grant passes away

The tweet made me laugh. He was 95...we are shocked... LOL, when you get 95 years on this earth, that's impressive. Who is shocked when a 95 year old dies!? Prayers for the Grant family as they move forward.

    Gophers Basketball 2023 Off-Season To-Do List

He's quick and I think his being able to play for two years as a starter has helped him learn how to play and have confidence. The reason NAU made their little run in the playoffs is because of his play. At 5'11" he played bigger. His handle is very good.

    Gophers Basketball 2023 Off-Season To-Do List

I saw Jalen Cone play point guard for Northern Arizona. He started his career at Virginia Tech during covid and moved out to NAU. He is a pure point guard, quick like a water bug, and can make free throws. He would be the type of point guard I hope Ben Johnson finds...

STrib: Former Gophers standout Damian Johnson rising quickly through coaching ranks

I can see Johnson becoming the "Bob Hurley" of Minnesota hoops. As long as the pipeline feeds the U, bring it on.

Lindsay Whalen Steps Down - Effective Immediately

There are phrases known only to Minnesotan's. For instance, a Minnesota Timberwolves fan clearly knows what it means to be "Flynned." So, we will all know what it means to be "Whalened."

    Boeheim was "Whalened." 😏

Lindsay Whalen Steps Down - Effective Immediately

Whenever someone is let go by "mutual" agreement, I will refer to it as "Being Whalened." 😏

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS MARYLAND BTT 2ND ROUND IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Lose the turnover stat and rebounding stat and you lose the game. Gophers not valuing the ball results in losing. This is a big point of emphasis for next year's squad.

Dennis Evans - Is it time to recommit?

Dennis got some bad advise. He took that advise and he can live with it. He's no longer a Gopher. Nothing to see here.
