I understand trying to force the turnover but realistically you need to add possessions to give yourself a shot. As soon as the trap didn't work they should have fouled ASAP. By not fouling we were down 4 with 8 seconds left having to go the full length of the floor with now zero chance to win.

I mean the team usually flies back after the game as well so why should the band stay an extra night? After the Texas bowl in 2012 the football team/staff/families/etc. were stuck on the tarmac all night after the game (due to TSA not showing up) and didn't get back to Minneapolis until 7 am.

This x 1000000. These care packages are generally handled by the equipment staff, and usually only go to the NFL guys (and sometimes CFL guys). If they had to send out gear to every former player they'd have nothing left in the EQ room for the players/staff/etc.
