Big Ten football coaches who are on the hot seat in the 2024 season (#1. PJ Fleck, Minnesota)

I agree, the next couple years will be interesting with conference additions and not a time to be shuffling coaches.

Brian Kelly speaks out against buying players.

They are getting paid to learn something to use for when the game is over. I am guessing the cost of carrying an Athlete at the U is about up to 300K if redshirted plus you sleep inside and free food! That's more than alot of cops and teachers make. I think they are getting a great deal at 18...

Brian Kelly speaks out against buying players.

Faster than that in my camp. I'm thinking if I am watching pro's I'm going all in on the NFL. At least they cannot transfer before the playoffs.

French fries? Hell no, ugly and embarrassing. Not even the Vets will take them. Just go maroon and gold, skip the BS crap until we win something.

Westfall: Get Over It Golden Gophers – PJ Fleck is the Best Minnesota Can Get

LOL. What a disturbing commentary to say we are blessed and bestow greatness on an average coach. Not a knock on Fleck but like those before him, not a champion of anything since 1962. 2019 was this generations pinnacle. Three decent whacks at going to Indy, only to choke. Before him two chances.

Lets just see what happens before the comments get out of control. Doubt this tilt will be battle for a top 12 spot in the conference. It is very possible there will be two guys playing QB that we have never heard of.

STrib: Donors to Gophers face a decision: Give to the school or to the athletes?

If I am donating direct, I am donating to what matters, sciences and research. If it has to be an individual then it would be a kid wanting to do something that will benefit this country's quality of life and defense.....sciences and technology. The athlete gets a free education via scholarship...

Former #Gophers DE commit transfers to MN from Clemson.

Goes through his first spring ball and then transfers....The NLI only covers showing up to spring practice? So after summer the poor boy does not like it here he can bolt?

Is this the Next evolution of NIL - Corporate Sponsors (FedEx Inks Deal)

The key word is "athletes" not just the QB.

    No Sitting Out for Transfers

We are not going back to what it was. Moving forward with the current formula will be the death of college sports, big stadiums and tradition and big tv money. I am a bit surprised the geniuses and planners do not see that at some point, sooner than later, viewership will take a rapid decline...
