The Gophers likely lose the USC and UCLA games without Koi Perich's big plays. They'd have a 2-5 record right now.

I will tell you exactly why I "keep arguing with everyone" and hopefully you will accept this and not feel compelled to continue to write War and Peace-length chapters to tell me everything that might have gone wrong if we were correctly awarded the ball. I want this talked about. On GH, BTN...

Once again, you can change one play and know the outcome. We successfully recovered the onside kick. The officials made the wrong call, giving the ball to Michigan and the ability to run out the clock. Refs changed the play incorrectly to GUARANTEE Michigan the win.

Big Ten analyst Yogi Roth gives this weeks helmet sticker to Greg Harbaugh for outstanding play calling

There might be a little too much concern here about only playing one good half. The defense played a full game against UCLA. Sometimes offense has to have time to probe the unexpected (sometimes) defense of the opponent. If your defense is keeping you in the game, that is a luxury. It's a...

Big Ten analyst Yogi Roth gives this weeks helmet sticker to Greg Harbaugh for outstanding play calling

Part of the skill in looking at more than one receiver is actually knowing where the 2nd and 3rd option will be. Brosmer doesn't need the time to search for secondary options. He is just a great example of a smart, experienced QB.

Big Ten analyst Yogi Roth gives this weeks helmet sticker to Greg Harbaugh for outstanding play calling

What Brosmer had to do with it was to show up on campus with his history. That's how he has succeeded over his career. Fleck and the OC were intelligent enough and bold enough to design an offense that fit their QBs proven strength. They already knew DT was a good receiver and turns out...

The Gophers likely lose the USC and UCLA games without Koi Perich's big plays. They'd have a 2-5 record right now.

My only point has been that college football allows an erroneous call from an incompetent official to decide the winner of a football game, without officials' review. That is wrong and harmful to the credibility of college football. You can little girl blabber all you want that we might have...

    After 25 years… I’m out

USC drops from No. 11 to somewhere below 25 after a loss to Minnesota. Ohio State loses and goes from No. 3 to No. 2. Who is running these polls, CNN?

The Gophers likely lose the USC and UCLA games without Koi Perich's big plays. They'd have a 2-5 record right now.

The only thing guaranteed is that you don't get the chance to win or go to OT with a short field when an official makes an egregiously erroneous call that decides the game.

    McDonald in portal

On the positive side, a guy good enough to play a lot at Iowa State is too far down the talent ladder at Minnesota to get any run. We have a lot of really good defensive backs on this team.

    Kicker

    Odds on favorite. Great leg.

    Kicker

Not crazy at all. He is frequently closing up his ankle and toe too quickly. That's a hook every time.

    Kicker

Lagging swing means your hips and wrists are not in sync. Smooth it out in slow motion on the range then feel your parts working together.

Koi Perich was named Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week

He scooped two fumbles and brought them in for TDs that night against McNabb and Cuse. I was there.

So I take it you are ok with an official's mistake deciding a close game. I'm not ok with that.

Yes, you can change one play late in a game and know the outcome. That would be an absurd erroneous penalty on an onside kick that we executed successfully and set ourselves up to win.

    Where does Jackson rank?

Someone mentioned career in comparing DJ to someone else. Personally, I don't care how he tests in the combine. Great physical skills obviously help but some guys have an innate ability to make the big play. Danny is one of those. Now, if you want a combination of elite athletic skills and...

Week 7 Big Ten Power Rankings

So after beating No. 11 USC and then UCLA, a team that had the toughest early schedule in the country, we need to dominate Maryland in order to "get back on track"? OK.

*IF* The Gophers win out, do they make the playoffs?

Anybody running the table in their last seven games has a leg up on teams with comparable records.

*IF* The Gophers win out, do they make the playoffs?

We would not have needed the field goal and OT. We had scored TDs on last three possessions. The odds of Michigan stopping us were slight. The incompetent officiating was not as bad as the NCAA having a rule saying certain game changing mistakes by officials are not reviewable. That is...

What grade would you give Gophers coaches in win over UCLA?

So defense giving up 10 points first half is an F? No, not really.
