If we were an SEC team and the conference foe were Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida, or A&M, we might get votes. Average B1G schools like us don’t get that “quality loss” benefit.

Yep. I still don’t think he was the right hire given our purported suitors—time will tell if I’m wrong (hope so). But he gets credit for thus far fulfilling the main reason he was hired. If we can consistently get 3-4 of the top 10 in-state guys each class, watch out.
