Or our current OC isn't the one recruiting him and he has been told a different OC/QB coach is going to be coming in. That would be a riskier pitch for sure, but still a possibility
This needs to be standard. If all the gates are open and equiped with metal detectors you close to double the number of lines people can use to get in. Maybe make that a permanent "no bag" area and then all the other gates have a variable number of "bag" lines that increases as the weather gets...
I also wonder if he needs to change-up the Strength and conditioning coach. 2021 and 2023 had very similar shades with regards to RB injuries and there were a couple of injuries this year that seemed to linger.
I know sometimes the injury bug comes along, but I wonder if there's a root cause in...
Fire Harbaugh and Simon. There are more competent wr coaches, QB coaches, and OCs out there. Wenger also needs to be canned, maybe the TE coach too cause spann-ford took a step back this year. Rossi needs to get things back in order next year. Secondary sucked this year and that needs to change.
Fleck wants to have at least 25 incoming players a year of possible, meaning at least an average of 4 players need to leave a recruiting class each year (25+21+17+13+9). That would mean the 2020 class should be around 12 gone and 2021 around 8. Based on that rough rule of thumb, 2021 has seen...
Ooooo, Texas State has the OC/QB coach that I like and think PJ should hire. Maybe this game could convince him to pull a Penn St and hire the OC that beats him...
Posted in another thread, but if PJ makes no changes to his staff this off-season I will be upset. Even if PJ got completely out of the way on offense, I don't have confidence that the current offensive staff could coach the offense successfully.
Rossi gets a pass because of past performances...
If PJ makes no changes to his staff this off season, I will be upset. Even if he is shackling the staff in some way, I don't have confidence the offense has the right pieces to coach this team successfully even if PJ got out of the way.
Rossi gets a pass this season because of his history, but...
If Illinois loses today but wins next week, Wisconsin wins this week but we win next week, and Nebraska wins next week. Northwestern, Illinois, Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Minnesota would be 6-6. Iowa would end 9-3 and Purdue ends 3-9 or 4-8.
Athan will have the off- season to improve, but it'll be interesting to see the Spring game and what the competition with Viotto and Lindsey looks like. Last spring we saw that until Athan clicked with Spencer toward the end, Kramer looked like he was having a better performance. I think mostly...

TL;DR We are currently at 85 scholarships, so expect no more to transfer in.
Annual thread on the current scholarship numbers for 2024. As always, the numbers always work out, but it's nice to have a grasp on the number of transfers in/out we might see...
