Watching March Madness is so fun but it got me thinking...when do we realistically think we will be watching the gophers play there again?

If Tony Bennett was coaching the Gophers and that was his resume there would be MANY people on this board calling for his job.

One would think...but then there is the "curious case of the MN Timbrerwolves" this season where any game you expect them to show up they don't.

Spread as of this morning was Boston -5. I'd bet my life savings on Boston covering that.

The thing is though...college basketball is so dependent on NET rankings that you end up hearing about that NET ranking more than a team's actual record. Even if the gophers are nowhere close to a bubble team (which they won't be) having an 11-0 record against 300+ NET teams isn't going to move...

If a team could, do you think the Twins would run multiple DH's in a game and just run out 6 or 7 fielders in an effort to give rest and avoid injury? I think they would if they could.

I saw that too and I'm wondering if its because Philly is on a back to back night?

The part i never understand is every single pick set on mcdaniels...even if its 50 feet from the basket...he chases over the top. I'm to the point where I would like to start seeing them slide under and watch guys jack up somewhat contested 3's as opposed to him chasing over the top and us...

Just out of curiosity what is the difference between (say 15 for average if that's Cousins) and 1 vs 15 and 30 for QBR rankings?

I'm not sure how the law works but being that he was never found with the weapon on him and said he had it at one point it probably isn't a crime. Same as saying you used drugs in the past can't get you picked up for drug charges.

As long as nobody is writing papers on his behalf i see no problems here.

Just think if they just took care of business against the likes of Detroit x2, San Antonio x2, Houton, Charolette we'd be sitting like a game back from the 2 seed.
