    Week 11 Other Games Thread

This Sullivan from Iowa is making some terrible passes.

    A huge concern

The offensive line is a concern as mentioned. At this point I'd be more concerned if we kept lining up and running when it is failing. We are at least seeing that the coaches understand it's not working that well so they are passing more. I've seen that as a positive thing and showing they are...

Purdue fires offensive coordinator Graham Harrell

Harrell was the QB that brought Texas Tech back in the 2006 bowl game against the Gophers and got Mason fired.

    Daniel Jackson

This kid is a hell of a receiver. Some of the plays he makes we don't see often by a Gopher. How about some praise for this young man. He will be missed next season.

Was this an offsides on us?

He was trying to make a point about there already being other reviewable plays regarding being past the line of scrimmage so why not add another. There are already reviewable penalties as well. Personal fouls that can be targeting. We get some calls get missed. We're all just collectively upset...

Is it time to admit PJ (and staff) can coach?

Do I have this right? When the players are out of position or make mistakes that's only on the players but when the players make plays it's only coaching? The truth is it is probably somewhere in the middle. PJ isn't a better in game coach due to a comeback that fell short. Some things have...

Was this an offsides on us?

I don't get the mindset of we didn't lose because of one play it was because of the other one play. All of the mistakes aside the Gophers were in position to tie or win the game. You can't make that call. Also a play like that not being reviewable, why? What is the point of replay then?

MN v MI Post Game Thread: Gophers Ball Out in 2nd Half

Normally I'd agree you need to play perfect to beat someone like Michigan but today if the Gophers played perfectly they would have won by 10 or more.

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MICHIGAN BATTLE FOR THE LITTLE BROWN JUG IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Can't stand that. Try to win once instead of hoping someone is going to break five tackles and score on the most predictable safe runs.

Lots of negativity on this board for a team that should be 3-1

I'm in the boat of they should be 4-0, so am I disappointed with them being 2-2, yes I am. Nine wins is nice but there was lost opportunity in those seasons to do more than just beat the teams you should and actually win something one time. I'm at the prove it stage. Saying we can't do something...

Keep in mind, the Gophers went 9-4 as recently a 2022. They were 5-2 at home, 3-2 on the road and 1-0 in neutral site games (bowl win vs. Syracuse).

In fairness twice (99', 03') Mason was a blown game away from winning the conference and going to the Rose Bowl. I'd say that is better than potentially winning the West but I agree there has been a little more consistency under Fleck. At the end of the day if you want to be taken seriously...

Valid comment. I don't know what I would have called that Purdue game. I think PJ thought it would be an easy win while sitting Mo. They had Iowa beat then they decided to run Mo into the ground something crazy like fourteen straight carries before the goal line fumble. I'm not saying that was a...

The Gophers also lost two, if not three, games they had no business losing in 2022. Nine wins is nice but years like those are when you should be winning ten or eleven and playing in a New Year's Six bowl.

Gophers All Gold Uniforms against Nevada.

Full banana. Is that the first time since the Kill era?

    1999 Minnesota Golden Gophers

All they had to do was beat Wisconsin and they would have had a share of the conference title and gone to the Rose Bowl due to the last appearance tie breaker.

CBJ on Coyle: He knows we've done it the right way. He knows we took the right step last year. I told him we're trying to move the needle every day.

I've always been curious about people's opinion when they say the U doesn't care about sports and what caring about sports looks like to different people. I think you laid out some examples here. Is it hiring big name coaches, sweeping issues under the rug, admitting academic risky kids...
