    B1G Game 11: Gophers Visit Indiana (2-3-22)

Sissoko with 2 early fouls and 2 TO's...again. I'm to the point where I'd rather see LBK instead of Sissoko.

    Recruiting

I watched a video clip of all the baskets Lee scored in her 61-point outing. A ton of shots from right under the basket. She has some Gustafson and Czinano in her...doesn't seem to put the ball on the floor a lot when not necessary. Credit her teammates for being able to get her the ball down...

    B1G Game 4: Gophers Host Maryland (1-9-22)

The Terps are loaded with talent. I'm not the biggest Brenda fan and I think her teams have often underperformed in March, but she is a top-notch recruiter.

BIG Game 3: Gophers Visit Rutgers (1-6-22)

Gophers previously 0-6 on the road vs. Rutgers. Scalia a dreadful shooting night with 3 of 14 but 9 rebounds. Powell the Gophers best player tonight.

BIG Game 3: Gophers Visit Rutgers (1-6-22)

Well, if we're going to play zone, Rutgers is a good team to do it against. Helgren with a couple buckets and a decent job of keeping Cornwell off the offensive boards. I continue to be surprised at what a non-factor Sissoko is at this stage of her career. Winters, Scalia and Powell with...

Game 14: Gophers Visit Drake (12-23-21)

For those of us who thought Kadi would have to have a great year in order for the Gophers to have a good year, we can throw that thought out the window. She turns the ball over way too often and she can't stay on the floor. An upperclassman making freshman mistakes.

***OFFICIAL uw-GREEN BAY AT MINNESOTA EARLY START TIME IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Liked that the Gophers scored a couple of times coming out of timeouts on plays that CBJ had obviously drawn up. Green Bay not a bad club, although not much of a threat beyond the arc. Gophers did a good job of keeping them out of the paint in the second half. I hadn't seen the graphic of the...

Game 13: Gophers Host Ohio University (12-15-21)

I'm glad that Whalen is starting Micheaux. Now, if only she could stay out of foul trouble. Not sure if there is a stat for this, but the Gophers might be close to leading the nation in offensive screen calls. Was glad to see LBK make some contributions against Ohio.

Game 13: Gophers Host Ohio University (12-15-21)

A shootout at Williams. Scalia "en fuego" with career high 37 points. Powell 1 assist shy of a triple double with 18 points, 11 boards, 9 assists. Hubbard with a solid game off the bench. 14 points. She is 11 of 11 from the FT line this year. Defense lacking against an Ohio team that shot...

    B1G Game 2: Gophers Visit Michigan (12-12-21)

What a difference between the Gopher men's bb team and the women's team this weekend. Women with over 20 turnovers; men with 4. Women with more turnovers on screens and charging than the men had altogether. Sissoko with more fouls and turnovers than points. This team won't be able to win many...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT MISSISSIPPI STATE IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Before the season started, I said this team would be lucky to win a conference game. I'm no longer thinking that way. Yes, they'll still take their lumps in conference play, but I'm impressed with the coaching. They're playing D, sharing the ball, and the spacing on offense has been solid...

All Things Paige Bueckers Recruitment Thread - Videos, Analysis, Tid-Bits, Articles

Saw the replay. Definitely a freak injury. Hope it's not a season-ending injury, as she is good for college basketball. Geno has had to field some questions as to why she was on the floor with less than a minute to go in a game that UConn had a large lead. He acknowledged that in his...

STrib: Alanna Micheaux Develops into a Post Presence

Really encouraged by her recent performance against NC. Would be great to have a post who is an offensive threat again.

Game 10: Gophers Host North Carolina (12-1-21)

I agree with the thought that an NCAA tourney berth might now be optimistic for this team based on non-conference performance. The Gophers will probably have to finish in the top half of the BIG and with better than a .500 record to have a shot at that. And there are some BIG teams that might...

Game 10: Gophers Host North Carolina (12-1-21)

Disappointing loss to a team that appeared to be beatable. That being said, it looks like we've found a post. Really like the fact that Rose demands the ball, seals off defenders in the post, and looks to score if she is open. She reminds me a bit of Iowa's Czinano in some ways. Plenty of...

    Game 7: Gophers v Oklahoma (11-22-21)

Not the greatest of games for Kadi and Scalia. Can't afford to have two of your top players struggle like they did against a quality opponent.

    Game 6: Minnesota V Syracuse (11-20-21)

Oh, and 10 assists for Jazz. Yes, too many turnovers for Kadi. I like the progress that Rose is making. I also like that they are slowing giving her more PT, as the game still seems a bit fast to her on offense...I think that's why she is traveling so often. One thing I like about her is...

    Game 6: Minnesota V Syracuse (11-20-21)

Gophers with the win. Sissoko with 23 points, 13 boards, but 6 turnovers. Scalia with 17 points and 6 boards. Winters, in her first start with 16 points, 6 boards. Helgren with 9 boards. Gophers 17 of 19 on FTs. 10 Gophers played in the game.
