Can't believe he ditched the team on signing day. If you flirt with the NFL and ultimately land back with your college team, its pretty easy to explain to your administration, and players that the NFL is too great an opportunity to pass on, and give a lesson about personal growth in a career...
I don't want to lose any of them, but this is the one I absolutely did not want to lose.
If PJ continues to put this kind of o-line play up though, it shouldn't really matter who we lose. The RB recruits will line up.
Usually I don't care what the Big Ten conference does, outside of the Gophers, but screw it. The Big Ten is dominating bowl games. My cousins have huge dicks. Lets go Michigan!
lol. One of my favorite comparisons, and I believe I read it here many years ago, is that bragging about how great your conference is, is like bragging that your cousin has a big dick. Sounds like Mississippi State wanted to show TT Alabama's dick, but then had to show their own.
good coach, but had an awful recruiting philosophy.
He said something along the lines on Barreiro the other day that if his scouts found a guy who was 6'4 and 300 lbs and could play offensive line great, he would tell them to go find someone else, because they werent going to get a guy with the...
Like most, I was left scratching my head and trying to find info on this kid.
I like the GH write up though, about how Ben has a certain type of player he likes to recruit, which is someone that can guard multiple positions.
With this line, and the offensive playstyle, I'm a huge fan of the RB by committee approach. Use 3 guys, we have at least that many backs that can succeed with this line. Keep them all fresh.
Old school seems to work in college basketball though. I think his on court style would fit the big ten just fine.
Too green on the college scene for my liking though. Richard had more college experience than Sam.
what an idiot. Curious what the full story is.
Edit: Just read up on it. Sounds like Juwan stepped out of the coaches box to complain about a call, Turgeon pointed it out to the refs, Juwan lost it. Juwan defends himself in post game comments claiming Turgeon "charged" at him, and Juwan is from...
Knocking Michigan (and Harbaugh) has recently become trendy, but what is considered underperforming for them in the Harbaugh years, is pretty impressive. 49-22 record and three ten win seasons. 4 top 20 finishes in 6 years....oh, and they've had 34 players drafted in that 6 year span as well
