Less high school kids more transfers

Not sure it’s as simple as that, but if it is, you can do the same thing with an older player and go get a different one.

Less high school kids more transfers

My bad, was looking at enrollees. Regardless, I still think it’s a plan that makes a lot of sense. Not sure what you’re referencing 2019 and 2020 for.

Less high school kids more transfers

The bad 22 year old is gone faster, the 18 year old has to be convinced to leave if you want him gone.

Less high school kids more transfers

Is it? What’s the price for a four star high schooler vs a three star transfer? The four star high schooler probably still has to develop for some time in most cases before being a contributor. Take Kollock for example, is he more expensive now? I’m sure there are bargains to be found either...

Wasn’t really looking for it…but turns out Indiana isn’t far off…17, 23, 19 high school enrollees the past three years.

Will Fleck learn from watching Cignetti's aggressive play calls and creativity?

What does this even mean? You have zero idea what either coach does all week.

Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

Not sure I’m ready to crown Cignetti as a master developer when a lot of the success was due to transfer players. Plus he’s only been there two years. Yes they’ve developed some good ones as well, but not sure that is the big difference between him and other coaches. Also it’s hard to...

Less high school kids more transfers

Is this the formula? Spend your NIL on about 15 high school kids and get the rest through the portal? Gets you an experienced roster and less wasting of resources on kids that transfer after a year.

What's the appropriate time to wait before hating Indiana?

I highly doubt that. Not in this 18 team format. He wouldn’t be able to recruit on a high enough level at Indiana without NIL and transfers. He would maybe get them consistently middle of the pack at best in my opinion.

Let’s him hire a better coaching staff.

New Roster is up on Gopher Sports

I think expectations for last years wr group was higher on paper than this year. I think Loya and Tracy were more proven than this years transfers. We really need a major impact from Perry Thompson imo.

Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

Roster aside, the HC and his staff wouldn’t be what it was this year without the program ponying up.

Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

I don’t think the transfer ratings are super accurate. Also a 3 star transfer with some college experience is likely going to immediately be of use, whereas a 4 star high school kid probably won’t be.

Who wins the National Championship: Indiana or Miami?

I meant they had 3 conference wins both three and four years ago.

It doesn’t happen without financial backing, doesn’t matter who the coach is.

Who wins the National Championship: Indiana or Miami?

To a much lesser extent Miami did the same thing after being 3-5 in the ACC three and four years ago.

Who wins the National Championship: Indiana or Miami?

I still get the impression that we’ll see these much more frequently now with modern rule changes.

New Roster is up on Gopher Sports

I noticed Spencer Alvarez is off the roster, didn’t see him enter the portal, might have retired?
