    2026 12 Team CFP

Obviously dumb that ND gets an auto bid under any condition. Also sounds inevitable that they eventually expand beyond 12 teams.

Will Fleck learn from watching Cignetti's aggressive play calls and creativity?

https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/fernando-mendoza-laments-leaving-cal-but-development-at-indiana-could-rocket-qb-to-top-of-nfl-draft-boards/ I’m not great at finding old articles, but here is one from summer. Everyone knew he was one of the top QBs whether he was a heisman...

What's the appropriate time to wait before hating Indiana?

Even their band has me jealous with these bangers. https://m.youtube.com/shorts/8sfoKmV-2mU

Meh, Paul Johnson and George O’Leary had better squads.

What's the appropriate time to wait before hating Indiana?

Their transfer haul this year is incredible. They’ll stay as a college football elite if they can continue these kind of portal hauls in my opinion. Their high school recruiting hasn’t been great, but it will improve quickly.

Did Curt Cignetti and Indiana change CFB forever? Here’s what could actually happen next (Minnesota?)

Fleck just brought some recruits with him, not players, as the free transfer did not exist at that time.

Less high school kids more transfers

Sure the amount will vary, but it all adds up. If they aren’t paying the high school kids much, that’s great, that would fall somewhat in line with what I would suggest doing. I think a budget of something like 15% for high school kids and save the rest for retention and portal.

Did Curt Cignetti and Indiana change CFB forever? Here’s what could actually happen next (Minnesota?)

Maybe not for next year but I do think we do see tier 4 happen again before too long. The new rules and playoff make it so much more possible than it was before.

Did Indiana not have a bunch of transfers?

Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

Well he is now. They got the #2 ranked IOL, #5, 21, and 31 ranked Edge, #13 rb, #8 cb, #11 qb, and #9 wr from this years transfer class.

With three-peat in hand, the Big Ten has shifted the conference bragging rights battle

Love to see it, but I’m not going to be like an Arkansas fan making sure everyone knows our conference is the greatest thing ever.

Will Fleck learn from watching Cignetti's aggressive play calls and creativity?

He wasn’t viewed as a heisman contender because of the team he was on. He has been the consensus #1 QB pick for the NFL draft for over a year.

Less high school kids more transfers

I assume most players with multiple offers will be able to command some type of NIL leverage.

Less high school kids more transfers

I think this is the case despite popular opinion.

Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

Understood, but there’s not enough of a sample size to say he develops players better than anyone else. If we’re comparing to Fleck I guess Cignetti is much better at developing players, especially since we are crediting Kill/Claeys for all the players that Fleck had during his first four years...

Will Fleck learn from watching Cignetti's aggressive play calls and creativity?

Maybe no heisman, but he’d be a top draft pick still, and I don’t think Indiana was the only school he could’ve won the heisman at.
