... the eight players on our roster could be playing elsewhere and it would not change the data. What might be interesting to see is how many high school senior girls play bb in Florida and Texas... the data could then be normalized.
What the data does show, as many of you have pointed out, is...
Coach P has now coached the team for 3 seasons. I went back to this thread to refresh my memory of her hiring and first season... my thoughts of her now, and what the future may hold.
Maybe take a look... what has changed, or remained the same regarding Coach P's character and coaching abilities?
Putting aside the wide ranging
opinions of Whalen on this forum, it is clear from comments by various players that she is held in high regard.
Whalen brought into my life the desire to watch and support women's bb... I will be forever grateful.
Coach P recruiter her, so there a relationship there. She has two years left, could help "bridge" us over until Zoey & Kuol develop. Personally, I think she let her intentions be known early because she wants to play here.
Couldn't understand why Zoey wasn't red-shirted... she missed the first...
... once the recruiting momentum is lost and fan interest declines, it is difficult to regain.
Hoping that the turn-around for both has begun... they go hand-in-hand.
And then there were three... just a #1, #2, and a lowly underrated 4 seed.
Eight teams; a #2, #3, #5, #6, #7, #8, #9, and #11 seeds all wishing they were in our spot...
Some of our higher seeded teams lost to lower seeded teams.

Washington wrote in his book: "At the end of the day, it’s not about what you have or even what you’ve accomplished. It’s about what you’ve done with those accomplishments. It’s about who you’ve...
Earlier this season I started a thread about who would start this season. My lineup was: Hart, Battle, Braun, McKinney, and Heyer... with GG coming off bench. My justification at the time was that GG was the overall best player and could play virtually every position and provide instant offense...
I agree.
Going forward a top six conference finish most years if not every year... this would yield reasonable seeding (4-6) every year.
Another point would be to grow attendance to 7000 to 8000 for most conference games... and 9000 for certain games. I must be patient, while happy with the...
We, those in attendance, covered our portion of the "spread". The team did the rest.
Thanks to everyone in attendance... we trailed only LSU (11095 vs 10763) in yesterday's games.
I would hope recruits may attention.
