I would encourage him to stay put. While 64 of age isn't considered old for the most part. His body is. Why start over again with all this NIL money hindering progress of what you're building? Unless he really loves the city, school, perhaps would like to retire there, etc., I'd stay away.

Just because other coaches don't believe in the word loyalty, that doesn't mean that Fleck has to lower his standards. I commend Fleck for doing the right thing.

For some reason, the spring game has never excited me. I get it though, its a chance for players to show the coaches what they can do and so forth.

Perhaps staying loyal to him as he did commit to play a 2nd year with the Gophers. Both parties fulfilled their end of the deal.

I've thought about this as well. Personally though, NCCA football needs an overhaul before it gets more out of whack.

These two guys were beast where you couldn't bring them down easily. The defensive guys must have been sore all over after a game.

Much stuff takes place behind the scenes. I could never judge anyone in a position like this without knowing more facts. Some people just like to rip on people as that is the way they are.
