Kaliakmanis leads the nation in passing yards (1150).

Being a 7th round QB he would have to be an unmitigated disaster not to get some pre season 4th quarter time.

Kaliakmanis leads the nation in passing yards (1150).

He has already exceeded my expectations That doesn’t make him athletic

The Mountain West is in serious dialogue to add FCS powerhouse North Dakota State as a football-only member starting this coming season

To me, there is a big difference between avoiding not scheduling one of 130 other options.

Big Ten Dominates 1st Round of NFL Draft

Waiting on someone to post how if you think the gophers dominated the first round they’re an idiot

Oregon Dan Lanning: Koi is "football serious."

Honestly I think getting every opportunity last year in all 3 phases and having just an okay year (IMO) likely was a wake up call for him. There is going to be less pressure, more money, more winning at Oregon. Maybe he thinks not being a big name will help him get better and he know he has to...

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

Yes. Which is why I think if Mn is a 6-8 win team it’s essentially a pick em, to me

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

No bet. I don’t know who’s going to win the game! I would do a Washington under 8.5 bet if anyone wants to take the over. But I think you can get a 7.5 from an actual bookmaker

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

Yes I get that. But why would I take Minnesota with a straight up bet when I never said I thought Minnesota would win the game? I think it’s equally likely Washington does You realize me saying it’s a pick em is not the same thing as saying Minnesota will win? So you think X is the outcome. I...

Kaliakmanis leads the nation in passing yards (1150).

I think you overrate AK as an athlete and arm strength I agree you never know but he isn’t mobile and he isn’t accurate. He has above average arm strength for a power 4 QB but not above average for an NFL QB I agree you never know. But I’ll be surprised if he gets even a preseason game snap...

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

Bet what? I’ve got under Washington 8.5 regular season you have over? Why would I give you Washington and me take Minnesota in a game that I said was 50-50? I think they’re both 6-8 win teams

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

Or the market overrating some 7-8 win teams and pretending they’re perennial 10 win teams.

CBS: Big Ten bold predictions for 2026 (Minnesota: Gophers pull off a big upset)

I personally think Washington is pretty overrated and is a pick em game. I know they went to a national title game a couple of years ago with a different coach and quarterback but….

Oregon Dan Lanning: Koi is "football serious."

Agree with this I do think he comes across as a meat head but isn’t the first football player to come across that way. If someone is going to pay him nfl money when IMO he isn’t a guaranteed nfl player he would be foolish to pass it up

The Mountain West is in serious dialogue to add FCS powerhouse North Dakota State as a football-only member starting this coming season

San Jose State is mountain west and on the schedule in 2027 North Dakota on the schedule in 2028 and 2030 (I know that’s not NdSU or SDSU) People saying we won’t play mountain west schools or Dakota schools just aren’t living in the same reality as me. 2024 Nevada 2019 Fresno and SDSU...

Power 5 NCAA Tournament Wins since 2000

It’s the same as the last 26 years of Illinois football vs Minnesota football. They have rose bowl and a big ten title but man it would be tough to be their fan

Power 5 NCAA Tournament Wins since 2000

A good discussion is: Would you rather be to the elite 8 twice or the round of 32 4 times. Because that yields the same number of wins in this metric

Power 5 NCAA Tournament Wins since 2000

True. Was just wondering. Often my case against my position would be to say if someone wants to run an alternate stat differently they should. I did and it makes hardly any difference.
