Why not us .... wheres our curt cignetti

Cignetti is the anti-PJ. He cuts out all of the bullshit and just focuses on playing football and winning games by a lot of points. If PJ spent less time RTB he could maybe come up with a cogent game plan more than once or twice a year.

Fleck Announces Changes, Additions to Coaching Staff, Limegrover is Back!

The sneaky thing about that sequence that nobody really pays attention to as the fact that Wolitarsky just fell down after he caught the ball. No one tackled them. I think he was so shocked that the play happened that he just fell down versus running into the end zone; if I recall correctly.

QB Jackson Kollock will enter the portal.

If a kid had a shitty attitude, 100% they would.

Quincy Avery: Drake Lindsey is so much better than anyone understands. I truly and honestly believe he's gonna be a Rd1 pick when it's all said & done

Lindsey is the perfect storm for us. He’s not going to be money hungry, IMO, and he has a lot of experience going into year 2 and we will likely have him 4 years and he’ll get better each year; health permitting.

Rumor from CBS that Dylan Riola may jump Nebraska

100 percent. Kid is weird and a bit of a punk.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

Those are against the little sisters of the poor. I’ll believe it when I see it in our conference.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

I hope he’s the second coming of Rasheed. .

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

And we got gashed up the middle a lot that was kinda my point. Plus, against good teams we got no push on pass rush. Our DTs were liabilities last year.

    Favorite Defenses as a fan

I’m not sure about my favorite D but probably one of PJ’s. Favorite player is a tie between Karon Riley and Jon Leverenz both were huge difference makers and sans injury the latter probably plays a decade in the NFL.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

A decent DT who plays a lot of reps is going to have at least 50 tackles and a handful of sacks. It just isn’t true that they aren’t counted on to make plays.

    Koi Perich Transfer Portal

Never had to worry about taxes back in the day as didn’t make/have any money but using my student ID to buy all my hunting licenses as in-state in South Dakota saved me a couple grand a year!!

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

True to an extent but look for example at 61 Redmond from the Vikes. He makes plays and has been a god send for them. Really good DTs will both hold the line of scrimmage and also make plays vs being invisible on the field and stat sheet ala 97–USAF.

All Things 2025 Playoffs and Bowl Thread

L i think first and foremost is his overwhelming desire to put his boot on the other team’s throat and choke the life out of them. He plays not just to win but to win big. Refreshing compared to the two decades out of date Tressel ball we play.

DL Xion Chapman commits to the Gophers

Our interior DL pick ups are underwhelming and in the B10 those guys gotta be players. Killed us last year with 97 again being a non factor and 91 regressing a bit over the prior year.

The avg age of the Indiana Hoosiers team is 23 years old.... For perspective the Green Bay Packers avg age this season is 25 years old.

This is about the most insightful fact I can remember relative to Indiana and their success other than their coach is a rockstar. The difference between a 20 year-old and an experienced 23-year-old in football is massive.

Official 2026 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

So with how well we’re doing in the portal here are we one of the poorest power conference teams and should think about dropping down to D3 or do we actually have enough money to compete?
