Article: Why Did Athan Kaliakmanis Enter the Transfer Portal?

Maybe Athan has some self awareness and didn't want to spend another year being a mediocre qb1. I would have preferred that he stayed, competed for the job with a transfer, and developed further. Perhaps that would be the nudge to help him turn the corner.

In College Football - Cheaters Prosper

The playoff selection is very flawed. Most shocking to me is the absence of Georgia. It used to be only two teams selected and people got their panties in a bunch about snubs back then too. expanding the playoff should help some but I think overall I like the classic bowl game set up the best...

QB Max Brosmer of New Hampshire commits to the Gophers

I'm glad we got a starter. I hope he turns out to be good at the B1G level. We still need a back up, who knows how durable this guy will be against p5 defenseman. I would take anything fleck says to the media with a grain of salt. The portal seems to be the best way to get QB's right now. No...

    Quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal

You may be right! it just seems these expensive, private, east coast institutions usually have a lot of old money behind them. Wake Forest has never been remotely close to being considered a top program but has had some steam in the recent past. The U is huge and may very well have lots many...

    Quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal

We have the edge because were a large school in a top conference but they're a ACC private school that most likely has deep pocket NIL donors. The warmer climate could tip the scales for many recruits as well.

    Quarterbacks in the Transfer Portal

sadly I think an offer from Wake Forest may be our kryptonite. The current state of our program/NIL is glum.

Matt Rhule: "A good QB in the portal costs $1 million, $1.5, 2 million" in NIL.

PJ should put together an RTB televangelism program every week asking for donations. I think he would fall somewhere in between Alex Jones and Tony Robbins. He could sell a lot of "Nekton" vitamins.

    Post Game on the Field

Sucks to lose the axe game, especially at home. The badger fans mill down to the front row as the gopher fans exit the stadium. Was anyone here at Camp Randall in 2022 or 2018? Do Gopher fans do the same thing there?

Shipley: Fleck’s team is staying out of trouble, graduating and winning. If that’s not enough for you, pay better attention

I wish PJ's whole life program would improve the football portion. I do recognize there were more off the field problems with mason-brewster-kill&Claeys.

    Having a star QB ......

I am frustrated with the QB, the coach, the OC, The defensive secondary, and Sean Tyler. Mitch Leidner was a big durable body who could run with the O line well, but he was a shitty passer. Athan isnt showing me much with his legs, accuracy, and is even worse with quick decision making. PJ and...

End of the Kirk Ferentz Era Too?

Iowa has had plenty of success in the past and Hawkeyes are the most beloved sports team in Iowa. They can put together some NIL, That's how they got McNamara. It certainly wont compare to the helmet schools though.

    Dabo is a bit crabby

People that complain about how much college coaches make shouldn't watch college football.

End of the Kirk Ferentz Era Too?

Kirk is gonna call three consecutive time outs at the end of the bowl game. Pour one out for the Ferentz coaching dynasty.

All Things P.J. Fleck Rumor Mill Thread - Listed as Candidate for Other Jobs

I hate Harbaugh but he is a better coach than P.J. Urban Meyer to MSU would be an absolute bombshell. Do you think he still has it in him after the massive failure in Jacksonville?

The NCAA has opened an investigation into No. 2 Michigan over possible rule-breaking around in-person scouting of opponents

OSU did not look great against Wisc. They are not winning any playoff games. B1G will not chastize their golden ticket in Ann Arbor. I doubt anything will happen in time and Michigan will just get a slap on the wrist in the offseason and Harbaugh will b-line for the NFL. I hope nobody hires him...

What a weird column, per La Velle: Gophers victory over Michigan State does not match triumph over Iowa

You're right but the majority of the big ten is in that tier. We are definitely not a team worthy of being ranked.

FBI joins the fray in the "other" Michigan Investigation.

its pretty crazy how much evidence is piling up against them. Supposedly TCU knew they stole signs so they used "dummy" signs in their playoff game and it worked wonders. I hope there are repercussions and I never have to see that mouthbreather Jim Harbaugh on tv again.
