1st Team Big Ten Offense and Defense.

Very happy for Ersery and Lindenberg. Ersery was really good against some high end edge guys. I think that once Lindenberg got healthy (arm or shoulder was messed up until maybe USC), the defense improved a ton.

Official 2025 Roster Movement Thread - Who's In and Who's Out?

Jay was quite the player and will go down as a guy that just couldn't get a holding call.

How much trouble is Ryan Day in?

Their QBs the past two seasons have been meh.

    Kaveon Lee Commits to Gophers!

Fleck and team are still recruiting Illinois well, but maybe not as well as when Lovie was the Illinois coach.

Scoggins: Max Brosmer’s gift to the Gophers is how he’s allowed coach P.J. Fleck to evolve

Tanner was really good in 2019 as well. What makes Max better in my opinion is his ability to go through progressions. I don't think Tanner ever became proficient in that regard.

Luke Fickell is in how much trouble?

I watched Van Dyke blow game after game at Miami. I don't think he would have been the above average QB you are suggesting.

Scoggins: Max Brosmer’s gift to the Gophers is how he’s allowed coach P.J. Fleck to evolve

And last year with Athan and a severely banged up RB group, it was a pretty bad hand to play for the offense. I get what you are saying, but Brosmer really gave this coaching staff the ability to spread the ball around.

A forecast of Gophers football’s biggest needs once transfer portal opens

A Walley and a D Jackson replacement would be the top of the list for me.

    Brosmer

Max vs Locke was a mismatch. Max had great protection as well, plus the wideouts made some great catches.

Some delicious facts regarding the big win over Wisconsin

I was wondering while watching if there were Badger fans chucking beer cans at Gopher fans like they did in 2016 when I attended the border battle? Some Wisconsin sports fan devolved into drunken babies sometime after 1993. I remember being in Mad town for New Years Eve (93), closing down Club...

He sounds like an @ss. So glad my college football experience isn't based on enjoying the season if the team is in the top ten. Minnesota will never be like Michigan and OSU again. But they can have good to really good teams and we can enjoy watching/communing with our fellow fans. Maybe I'm the...

Strongly disagree. I was just thinking while walking the pup before the Penn State game that there was a stretch of maybe five years (well into the Jerry Kill era) where the Gophers never scored a td on their first possession of the game. When you have a new DC and a new quarterback, it's going...

    Bowl question

There is some smoke about what may have transpired after the 1986 Liberty Bowl at a Nashville Honkeytonk. Gopher boosters raised holy hell because they wanted polka music, and even though there are always good musicians at bars on Broadway, no one could step up to deliver Polka. Arne Carlson...

Jalen Logan-Redding is coming back for one more season

That is huge. I saw him interviewed on the tele and he came across as really bright and team oriented. Plus he’s really talented.

Iowa is much closer to Chicago and therefore is much better situated. You might be right about Nebraska though.

Post Game Thread: Gophers lose heartbreaker to PSU

Considering that Minnesota has by far the lowest number of 3, 4, and 5 star recruits within 200 miles of any Big Ten team, I think Fleck has recruited pretty well. Maybe Minnesota fans will open up their pockets a bit more and NIL can help close the gap.
