Seems like the weight room is needed for the returners. The short yardage push was non-existent, I hated those 9 yard pass completions. The lack of push up front, really shows up on short yardage. I know, I know…..redundant but, a pet peeve.

Wish he would ride it out here but, he did not have a great year based on expectations and last years production. Next year he may go either way, something was off, even though some think he was the same guy. If he isn’t happy here, he won’t help himself or the team.

Not the same guy he was last year, in 2024 he made plays every game and almost pics or pics regularly. This year there was games when he disappeared, and then of course Cal. Something definitely off, coaches probably know, or have a good idea.

Not happy he is leaving but, he was much less of a player this year. If it wasn’t for our recognition of #3, and the announcers constantly talking him up, he really didn’t stand out. Sometimes change is good.

I wonder how he looks with a bad team. Could be a stand in for the grinch when he is undefeated.

I guess I think for a younger quarterback not improving is akin to regressing. Seemed to me to throw on time less than the beginning of the season. Just speculating, I guess no one really “knows”.

To me the basic deficiency has been the offensive line, I look for push to see if we match up physically. I don’t recall seeing much push against even Buffalo. Our short yardage offense was horrific, couldn’t pick up a yard on 3rd and 4th down numerous times. That forces trick plays or short...

I thought the lack of push in the run game, especially short yardage was as poor as it could be. I would think you need 3 new starters, unless there is vast improvement in the current group.

Should not have to spend considerable cash (for some), take time from work (for some), to freeze your ass off in New York for what should be a “fun” time.

If the OC and DC suck as bad as a lot of people here say every week, can’t be better than a C. Not that there is anything wrong with that, it is average.

C. I thought he maybe regressed a little or was flat improvement wise. As stated above needs to improve agility more than anything, heavy feet are not ideal in today’s football quarterbacks. Not very good on deep balls. Throws on time well, very well actually.
