I like the Rose Bowl, it isn't fancy, it doesn't have a ton of lights and crap. It's just a big bowl with fans, no levels of suites and such. It feels like a place football should be played, more than whatever fancy place will supplant it one day...

The commentary in the bowl games this year seem unusually bad. In the BYU game the commentators missed that the refs SIGNALED, and announced the result of the play over the PA. The commentators tried to play it up like a controversy because they "never saw an official signal". It was wild....

It was Alabama for a while wasn't who seemed like they couldn't find one. They kept winning but it felt like they had a sub standard kicker at all times.
