Jordan Nubin, Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week.

Pretty awesome, happy for the Nubins. Give him all the credit for the win, yes we have a good o-line but to be that durable and strong - huge! Minnesota is Nubin country.

Gophers 3.5 point favorites vs Illinois

Unfortunately Beilema has had our number whether he was at Wisconsin or Illinois. This is another monkey on back team/coach for Fleck. A toss up seems appropriate.

    invalid fair catch signal

I do like Dejeans comment that he was flapping his arm to maintain balance. Actually pretty creative, he can’t say he was waiving teammates off or was faking a fair catch because those would suggest he either doesn’t know what he’s doing or trying to sneak one by the refs. Much better to use...

    Gophers 7 point favorites

That surprises me a bit, while defense was good against Iowa there is no way to really tell if they’re improving since Iowa offense is brutally bad. We have limited options at running back and Kman is sucking right now. 7 seems too high.

Cheating IA - Fair Catch Was A Play!!!!!!!

Also the weird way Ferentz is complaining about this it sure seems like this is coached to do just that. So they have plausible deniability and then claim being the victim

Cheating IA - Fair Catch Was A Play!!!!!!!

Thinking about 2 plays at the end of the game: 1) the fair catch wave 2) trying to nock the ball from our center’s hand at the point of hiking. I’m now thinking these are tied together as a part of IA coaches play book when losing. Try to pull of a fake fair catch to confuse the defense-...

    Elite Locker Room Celebration Video!!!

A win but boy a butt ugly game. Defense stopped the most pathetic offense in college football, for a win.

    NIL Valuations

You’re comparing apples n oranges. An external 2nd party using tried and true metrics of risk (the bank) vs a team fanatic driven partly by emotion that believes his company will get unmeasurable branding value from paying a player $$$ as a representative.

    NIL Valuations

Sorry, but this argument in my view doesn’t have merit. Why does UPS, McDonalds, or any other company hire an athlete or actor to be in a commercial- it ain’t because they have a formula that shows how many more packages they ship or burgers they sell. It’s called branding and the “appraised”...

Is This the Season PJ Fleck Beats Iowa?

Let’s see if Rossi as good as we hope

STrib: With Gophers reeling, what happened to Joe Rossi's normally stout defense?

Some of Nubin’s compadres in coverage are absolutely brutal. #2 has a very appropriate number for his play and may be the worst.

    MICHIGAN ON NBC

A few days ago I’d say I was hopefully optimistic about this game that it could be competitive. Now it seems like a beat down on national tv.

Darius Taylor Runs to Third Straight B1G Freshman of the Week Honor

I’m going to enjoy watching Taylor every game! he has the patients of some recent Gopher greats to break the line but a bit better speed in the open.

This guy is a 5*, great player for MN.

    A picture says a 1,000 words...

Not the reason we lost but indicative of why we should have lost. Seriously question the football IQ of many on this team from the top down to special team, pass defense and some on offense like an over hyped “NFL prospect”. This is a wheels fell off game - a Bowling Green game, …is it more...
