Right, Buium may be a star but Hughes IS a star. An extension will be huge and Guerin likely ends up with egg on his face if he doesn’t get one done.

They also only had more D scoring than 3 other teams in the league this year. While the need may have been greater for a top 6 forward, Hughes is more than just help on the D corps.

That is a really high number but he’s hit it multiple times. The point I was attempting to make is that he’s going to have a greater impact on the offense than number of goals he scores personally. But I acknowledge your point that it would be better to have another high end forward.

Yeah, center is thin again but does it matter what position scores the points? Hughes will help put points on the board. A trade to bump Tarasenko down or out of the lineup would be great.

There’s definitely something there. Not many administrative assistants see a 55% pay increase in 1 year. That increase makes it harder for me to believe that Michigan did not know which probably leaves them exposed if she tries to file a suit.
