All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

I will agree that Denver is bigger but Valanciunas is declining rapidly, and Hardaway Jr is as well despite having a good night last night. Cam Johnson also misses 1/3 of the season every year so we'll see what they look like later in the year. I have no idea who Crawford is. OKC is not bigger...

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

This week will be the mid point of the season so there's plenty of data. I think there's very little chance they win @Detroit this week. In order to make the playoffs they will have to get to at least 10 or possibly 11 wins. That means they need to go 7-3 or 8-2 the rest of the way against one...

All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

I think it's way too early to know anything. NAW's scoring is up but he's been a minus in every game for the 1-3 Hawks. I just find it really funny that @jamiche suddenly thinks the Wolves are too small when the only change in the rotation from last year is they replaced NAW with TSJ who is...

A scoring PG solves nothing when the biggest issue with this team is defense. And suddenly we’re too small when we swept the Nuggets with the same team plus NAW and of course Ant last season? With or without Ant, the Wolves have to be a top defensive team to win. Through 4 games they’ve played...

The doctors have also medically cleared JJM for the last two weeks but KOC decided to throw an injured Wentz out there instead.

They have one of the toughest remaining schedules in the league. Two of their 'weak' opponents are Baltimore and Washington, which are much better teams with their starting QBs healthy, and both could be healthy when the Vikings play them. There's a much better chance the Vikings end up with a...

All Things 2025 Minnesota Vikings In-Season Thread

It's pretty much a lock that this will be a lost season with the most expensive roster in the NFL. The Vikings are back in cap hell, ~24 million over the cap for next season ranking 31 in the NFL. With Kwesi hitting on so few draft picks, does he survive? I could see them keeping KOC for one...

Absolutely pathetic and disgusting for KOC to leave Wentz in the game as long as he did against the Chargers knowing the injuries he was dealing with.

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

Sometimes yes. But Lindsey's throws on the 3 picks were awful. Weston had a punt of 13 yards, then followed that up with a 36 yard punt returned for a TD. I'm not putting that all on the coaches, otherwise you are saying any good coach can win any roster and that's just not true.

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

The coaches don’t throw or kick the ball. It’s not hard to see when a throw or a kick is not where it’s supposed to be.

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

How much of it is a lack of preparation or a lack of execution by a young team? Or is it both? No amount of preparation can make up for a lack of execution. Lindsey had his worst game by far and outside of one game, the punter has been terrible too. It has been a very up and down year and they...

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

They almost won at Michigan last year. As for those complaining about assistant coaches, would you rather be paying ~3-4 million per year for Ciarrocca and Rossi? Their teams are sitting a combined 1-9 in the B1G.

The Wolves lost at home, at full strength, in mid March last season to a depleted Pacers team after an 8 game winning streak. That team was missing: Siakam Haliburton Turner Nesmith It was an ugly win, but it was a win without Ant against a team we were 0-2 against last season.

    Pig Weather

I think I jinxed it because scattered showers are now possible throughout the day on Saturday in Iowa City. Clouds and a few showers would hold temps in the low 50s. SE wind around 10 mph, with a few gusts to 15-20.

Not as much as everyone is making it seem. They scored 118 against a good defensive team. The biggest issue for the Wolves last night was their D in the first 3 quarters.

All Things 2025-2026 Minnesota Timberwolves In-Season Thread

DDV struggled with the ball in his hands in the 1st half and was benched for it. Most of the rest of the TOs were just dumb passes in the half court offense and had little to do with PG play. Holiday and Sharpe had 4 TO's a piece, the same as Ant. Was Portland's PG play some of the worst...

PP: Six bold predictions for the 2025-26 Timberwolves season (Minnesota wins 53 games, falls in Round 2 to Denver)

Ant is going to be your primary ball handler and it will rotate between him, DDV, Randle, and McDaniels. I have no issues with starting two combo guards. When DDV was at his best in NY, he was starting. Naz and TSJ will be the primary scorers off the bench. I don't think Dillingham plays that...

Yeah he did those things. The 'two minutes of lowlights' not shown are why they lost the game. 🤡
