    2026 Gopher Recruits

You could even say there is a desperate need now.

Game 5: Gophers visit Kansas 11-19-25

If Nia can't get any playing time in a game like this, where Hart and Tonga have been terrible, she may as well use the portal. Wouldn't blame her at all.

It appears our posts are going to be our Achilles heel this season. Making bunnies shouldn't be too much to ask

Game 4: Gophers host NJIT 11-14-25

You could do what I just did: cancel your subscription. The printed version has been declining for years. Their recent decision to have it printed in Iowa was the final nail in the coffin, as it eliminates all breaking news stories. As far as the online version is concerned, they've loaded it...

Game 3: Gophers host Marquette (11-11-25)

The StarTribune's coverage of this team has gone from poor to almost nonexistent.

Maybe I've just been lucky, but I've had it for years with no problems. I watch it thru Roku.

***OFFICIAL GARDNER WEBB AT MINNESOTA - THE OFFICIAL START OF THE NIKO MEDVED ERA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

If you're only interested in men's BB, it may not be worth it. However, if you follow other Gopher teams, it's a good deal. All volleyball matches and women BB games that are not on regular cable or streaming channels can be seen on Big Ten+. Same thing with softball and baseball in the...

Mallory Heyer announces she's leaving Gophers program

I agree that she worked hard and got the most out of her athletic ability. She was one of my favorites from the first time she stepped onto the floor in Williams Arena. I loved her hustle and work ethic. But let's not make her more than she was. She was an average 3 point shooter at best...

    Paul Benson 1960

The number of good college players (most of whom played for the Gophers) that came from that part of the state in the early 60's is pretty amazing: Paul Ramseth, Jimmie Cairns, Jay Kessler (all from Redwood Falls), Paul Benson and Larry Cole (both from Granite Falls) and Bob Bruggers (Danube).

***OFFICIAL NORTH DAKOTA AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

I was at that game too. The details are a little fuzzy for me, but I do remember thinking afterwards that we definitely should have won that game.

    Minnesota 2025-2026

It's a loss, but it's still to be determined if it's a big loss. If she got beat out of her starting position and couldn't take it, the team should be just fine without her.

    B1G match 5: Gophers host UCLA 10-8-25

A little harsh, don't you think? They are playing 5 freshmen after losing 4 rotation players to injury. What did you expect?

Media does not even pay attention to women’s basketball.

Your ignorance (or maybe you're just a misogynist) earned you the ignore button.

Who is your Gophers MVP in win over Rutgers?

I agree that the Drake was clearly the player of the game. But that run by Brown after his interception was amazing.
