Not that far off in my opinion. Fan interest in this area is minimal. Obviously this board is an exception, but the general public has no idea how the Gophers are doing, total pro sports (especially Vikings and Wild) state. Edit - I agree Purdue is too high.

Totally agree on this take. Do people really believe that he would not hire top end coordinators if he had another million bucks to pay out? If I were a AD at a school with a large budget I would definitely be interested in seeing what PJ could do at their school with a large NIL pool, admin...

That's fair. My original point is as it stands it will not hold as a top 30 class in the country. I do think the portal will be more important for MN next year though, and you never know how that will shake out.
