Former Gophers assistant Joe Rossi struggling with Michigan State

I wonder if Coach Rossi got incompetent all of a sudden, or if he just doesn’t have the horses?

Athletic: There are far more college football jobs on the market than quality coaches

There are a plethora of good coaches out there, the trick is to correctly identify them.

    Lemeke Brockington is our guy

Watched a few other “lesser” big ten teams this weekend, seems like most have a stud, go to, type receiver, I don’t think I’ve seen that guy in maroon and gold this year.

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

I think there is something to the old Sid theory that higher ups at the U want academics to be considered superior to athletics, as in not be overshadowed by the major sports. Even though most people, in my opinion, identify or think of colleges based on athletics. The average guy, me, didn’t go...

AT WHAT POINT DO YOU SAY ENOUGH IS ENOUGH

The athletic department at the U in men’s athletics is in bad shape, right? I don’t follow as close as in my younger days, of which there have been many, but baseball has fallen, basketball has been poor, hockey seems a little down, this year anyway. Football just muddles along has had some...

Fleck: “I’m proud of our players fight. We didn’t turn the ball over which is really positive for us…We have a really good football team though.”

The fact that a good number of folks here(probably) thought it was from the latest effort means something, maybe…..?

Post Game Thread: Hawkeyes Humiliate Gophers

The team has looked uninspired and uninterested on the road this year, inexcusably so. Embarrassing and needs to be corrected, pronto, wins on the road are nice, but EFFORT is a must. They don’t look like the same team on at home v. road, starkly absent of something on the road. Frustrating.

Will the Gophers be ranked in the Top 25 this season?

The vote they got this week, will be their last, deservedly so, I might add.

    Lemeke Brockington is our guy

He is solid, under the radar type guy, always thought he should be more involved. He is also my all time favorite guy named Lemeke!

Gophers featured in cfo training video for absurd targeting play

I believe a few plays earlier said (57) perpetrator was carrying on similarly on a Mn d-lineman well behind and after the play. Just a little to jacked for the game.

Chip: Drake Lindsey has been the team’s best player heading into Saturday’s trophy game at Iowa. That’s not an exaggeration.

College Stats should change sacks from negative rushing to negative passing yards. This would change the yards per attempt and completion to show actuality, and be more realistic. The college game used to be dominated by running QBs, no longer and the statistics should get with the times.

….but Coach needs to find some receivers who can get some separation, and beat someone deep. Been lacking for a number of years, IMHO.
