    FIRE GREG HARBAUGH

100%, there have been plays to be made where Drake has missed or a player has dropped the ball.... Just feels like defense has like 15 guys on the field when we are on offense and everything is a struggle.

Not a fan of knee jerk in game threads but something needs to change with the offense. No way we should just have 10 points at halftime against this team.

***OFFICIAL MICHIGAN ST AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yeah....only slight plus is at least they could gameplan knowing he was out as opposed to Iowa where they thought they would have him and then lost him right away. Frustrating as hell that a guy as talented as DT just can't seem to stay on the field.

Trash probably isn't the right word but he certainly isn't living up to they hype that comes with the last name. If he had a different last name he would be seen as a solid college QB but given the expectations for him he has been a disappointment. Big hold for Vandy, going down 14 on the road...

Redshirts are great for lineman and those guys that need time to physically develop, they still have their place they are just viewed very differently now in a time when you can't really project your roster out very far anymore.

    Black Uniforms against MSU

I kind of got it when it was a new concept but how are people still getting bent out of shape by alternate uniforms? Pretty much everyone does it at least once in a season. Heck, even the NFL goes with the ridiculous looking throwbacks during the season.

Syracuse QB - 4 for 18 - 39 yards.... Heck of a way for Belichick to get ACC win number 1 against a squad that was essentially playing without a QB. :)

Yep....decision won't have anything to do with redshirts because in the portal era it is pointless to project your roster more then a year or two out at the most. So you play the guys you think give you the best shot to win. If that means one or both of the freshmen, then play them.

2025 Minnesota High School Football Thread

Unfortunately Rosemount picked tonight to have their worst game of the year, especially on offense. Two huge fumbles, 2 INT. D played solid but couldn't get off the field quick enough and the refs swallowed their whistles (blatant pass interference in the first half that wasn't called). STMA...

True, but places that play on grass fields might be pretty soggy. Might be minimal but these are high schoolers so doesn't take a lot to knock many of them off their games. :)

Will be interesting to see what if any impact the weather has on the games tonight.

    Scoggins/Kill Article

The thing I really don't understand about this battle is why it is even a battle in the first place. Fleck didn't replace Kill he replaced Claeys who had replaced Kill when Kill left on his own (wasn't fired even though some still act like he was). Fleck has been the most successful coach at...

Gophers defensive end Karter Menz is taking advantage of his opportunity

I remember noticing Menz in the Northwestern State game, had to go check the roster to see who #11 was. He has been impressive this year. As someone else mentioned, needs to pack on some weight but has a chance to be a really sold piece on the DL for us this year and beyond.

    Scoggins/Kill Article

I also love that some can just completely ignore the QB situation on that 2017 team while acting like Fleck inherited a loaded roster. He inherited some really nice young pieces from the 2016 class who were redshirt freshman in 2017. That 2017 team was going to suck no matter who the coach...

    Scoggins/Kill Article

Here's the thing....the people who like Fleck don't think Kill was a bad coach, it would be foolish to think that because he did a solid job while he was here. Nearly everyone that doesn't like Kill at this point doesn't like him because of how he conducted himself after leaving the U when he...

    Scoggins/Kill Article

Better then Brewster/Wacker....no doubt In terms of Mason - Pre-Ohio State Mason (1996-2000) was better then Kill post Ohio State Mason (2001-2006) was worse.

    We stink.

Yeah, they are a really tough team to get a read on. They definitely seem to be in the same tier of the conference that we are in this year. Not contenders but not Wisconsin either.

    This is a fireable offense

Think you might be forgetting about what Kill did to his legacy after leaving the U. The whole thing is stupid. Kill did a good job cleaning up the mess Brew left. Fleck inherited a better situation then Kill did but it was far from perfect. Kill could have ridden off into the sunset being...

Reusse: Is P.J. Fleck the answer to lift the Gophers out of mediocrity?

*sigh*....we need a win over Michigan State in a big way....this place becomes such a slog after a loss and every thread turns into another Kill vs. Fleck battle that some seem determined to keep fighting almost 10 years since Kill LEFT ON HIS OWN.....

    This is a fireable offense

Kill got his undies in a bunch over comments Fleck made about changing culture but nearly every coach talks about changing things when they come in because if nothing needed changing they wouldn't have been hired in the first place. It was not a legit beef it was petty and small which is what...
