***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT IOWA, FLOYD OF ROSEDALE, IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Alternate take. A similar situation from the past, except that it was by a team that actually had an offense, and played with passion and courage. I was making fun of suggesting this team could come back like a competent offense. yeah. My bad. Not what I meant to say, but got sidetracked by...

    This is a fireable offense

In fairness, all Tim Brewster did was accept the job he was unqualified for when it was offered. Fleck isn't going anywhere, but I'm willing to bet he'll leverage the rumors to try and bump HIS salary. Coyle needs to restructure his deal to put more money to the coordinators and more...

***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA AT IOWA, FLOYD OF ROSEDALE, IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Yes, but that QB played in an air raid offense and went on to the NFL, even if his career was short and less than soectacular. Granoski plays in my grandfather's grandfathers offense and will never get a sniff at QB in the NFL.

She should have been our next AD...Feel even stronger about that after 10 years of Mushmouth's inept "leadership"

So all the hand wringing over Arkansas stealing Drake from us might be Drake taking PJ with him?

Tell me I shouldn't be worrying about Northwestern

I haven't seen much of Nebraska outside of highlights before our game, but they were bad on Friday night. Brewster's first year bad. If they play against the rest of their schedule the way they played against the Gophers, if PSU can get their brown-matter together, Nebraska won't be bowl eligible.

Tell me I shouldn't be worrying about Northwestern

We own games played on crappy cramped football fields jammed into baseball stadiums. And you thought PJ was just tanking to get to all these chicken shit bowl games the past few years?. He's been playing 3D chess prepping for this game to go along with the crap effort at Ohio State so we can...

It only takes about 3.5 hours to get through (north to south).

Say something nice about Iowa, 2025 edition

I'd bring it up until he admits that the winning touchdowns in 2015 and 2016 were both blatant holds (it was the same play both years), otherwise Gophers win both of those games.

Not a hex. He just believes he can beat Nebraska, and they believe it too.

POST GAME THREAD: GOPHERS DOMINATE HUSKERS!! WIN 6TH STRAIGHT VS NEBRASKA!!!!

Yup. How do we have a team ready to go consistently? Isn't that the job of the head coach? We've been ready at the kick-off for exactly one game so far this year against a D-1 team. And it was awesome.

helped multiple times by undisciplined play by the Nebraska defense. It's his perfect recipe for winning without risking anything.

POST GAME THREAD: GOPHERS DOMINATE HUSKERS!! WIN 6TH STRAIGHT VS NEBRASKA!!!!

This post didn't age well. You mean the Purdue team that Northwestern shut out yesterday? The same Purdue team we gave up 256 yards rushing to that Northwestern held to 87? The same Purdue team that held us to 30 yards of rushing that Northwestern gained 232 yards on? Yeah. Real monsters of...

Happy 80th Birthday to the one and only @Patrick_Reusse! You know what they say, “We dress like those we admire.”

Best ever Minnesota sports writer? Not exactly a peak of greatness (at least from my familiarity starting in 1987). I always saw him as a poor man's Scott Ostler. Ostler was a bit cranky, but he was direct, honest, fair, and not afraid to ruffle feathers when it was warranted. I grew up...

Video: P.J. Fleck is BEST Minnesota Gophers coach in 75 years!

Recognized? No. And Fleck doesn't need to worry about being recognized, he makes sure he's recognized as often as he can with every June press release about the outstanding top 25 recruiting class than ends up in the upper 30 to mid 40s on signing day. Or the Boast of his 11 win season being...
