There must be a bit of trickery going on to claim we have the highest paid roster in the NFL. Every NFL team has the same salary cap, and I doubt there's any team whose cap hit this season is significantly below the cap limit far more than any other.

It is absolutely subjective and up to the head ref in that situation to decide if he caught the ball. I'll allow that it could go either way, but for the effort and greatness of the play, and it being called a TD, it could easily have been allowed to stand and that's what should have happened.

I would love to understand how the gametimes are decided. I know the current TV deal has three major TV partners in FOX, CBS, and NBC, and there is some process whereby they get to pick games for each week. And then they have to slot those games into their available timeslots.

Holding happens every single play. All over the field. There is no requirement to call everything that happens exactly as it happens.

If it has nothing to do with coddling, then McCarthy should be able to win with backup OL. But he played terribly. He isn't ready this year. That's just the deal.
