More reasons why I love our C86 West Bank location. It may not have the "energy" of the lots close to the stadium. But our crew of 10 (often more) are able to hook together multiple canopies, have a separate grilling/cooking area and spread out in ways that would definitely not be possible in...
I guess I assumed people would read the initial post I made when I created the poll. Obviously, that is not the case. It was 100% meant to be answered as "you only get to have one and lose the other two". That's the only way the poll is even the least bit thought provoking.
I get your logic. Unfortunately, the parameters of the poll mean that if we beat Michigan we lose to both Iowa and Wisconsin. If I put an option for winning all three, it wouldn't be much of a mystery which would win.
You nailed my thoughts as well. I went with Iowa. But the fact that the other two are both home games would make winning one of them more enjoyable for me as a season ticket holder. I think it's a really tough question as well. That's why I put it our there. And I don't think there is a right or...
Obviously, I want to look at the Gopher's trophy case at the end of the season and see it packed full. But, if you were told we would only win one of the trophy games with Wisconsin, Iowa and Michigan, which would you want the most?
It depends on the 7. If we go 7-5 with two trophies in the case at the end of the season, I'm probably fine with that. 7-5 as spelled out in the original post is a pretty meh season with a feeling of "maybe next year".
I totally agree with your first two sentences (not so much on the third). I will probably search out a couple Colorado games this fall just to watch the drama.
I'm just glad it's not happening at a location that has any real effect on the Gophers.
I remember these and the excitement that came from looking at them. I notice people on balconies in the third picture. I guess I've never looked close enough, but is that really a thing?
Does he already have his degree? He's been on campus since 2019 and has three years of Academic All Big Ten so you assume he does or is very, very close. Leaving in the middle of the semester isn't too tough if you are only taking a skeleton class load.
Tough to argue that. If Colorado becomes a Big 12 contender, it would be a downright miracle. I'm assuming you are predicting that they will be leaving the PAC12 for the Big 12. ;)
KARE11 did a quick bit on this coaching change last night:

Any stadium built more than 20 years ago that has bench seating could probably reduce capacity by about 20% to increase seat width and nobody would complain.
Not really. It's the tweet that's misleading. They don't need to "earn bowl eligibility". They have already been granted bowl eligibility regardless of the outcome of their game against Valparaiso...
