Having some experience in this sort of thing - there are privacy issues regarding behavior. My guess is this wasn't the first time he scuffled and/or got in trouble for breaking team rules. In all likelihood, he was on thin ice even before this incident.

I have been told with being in college, HIPAA is a big deal when discussing injuries. So, taking the safe route, they don't discuss injuries specifically (have seen 'lower body' injury or similar). Personally, I don't see AOC playing either. There is a higher awareness and concern around injuries.

It's not that way at all. I also have lived in the inner city and these sort of outings are necessary for kids to give them a break from the horrors they come in contact with every day. Big Brothers and Big Sisters (and other mentoring groups) depend on these outings to bond with their kids...

WOW! I've never seen anything close to that in College Football. I coached Jr. Highers and saw this occasionally, but never more than once (yes, I read them the riot act if I saw this - shows lack of focus). Is this a re-occuring issue with Benhart?

Never underestimate the Student Section. I completely agree with you about the average fan, but in the student section, they pretty much react in unison (even though they don't know the background). I have a feeling the student section will be brutal.
