    The Matchup With Iowa

I could see Kramer getting some run in this game. He is an effective runner

    Weather vs Iowa

I think the game vs MSU in 2012 has been the coldest game I have attended. LeVeon Bell could not be stopped and the Gophers offense was non existent Michigan State out-gained Minnesota by a huge margin on the ground, picking up 278 rushing yards, while holding Minnesota to a paltry 4 yards...

Brevyn Spann-Ford will not be participating on Senior Day

I believe he is speaking of Murray Warmath.

    The Matchup With Iowa

Last year the Gophers moved the ball well and were held/settled to FG on 2 or 3 possessions. The Gophers still should have won the game, but the defense gave up some big plays that were the story of why Iowa one. One of them was an awful job of wrapping up a WR behind the line and then letting...

    The Matchup With Iowa

right, especially with Petras in the game as he doesn't run well. If Padilla comes in then that could get exploited as it did early vs Nebraska.

    The Matchup With Iowa

If both teams punt 6 times, I could see Iowa having a net 120 yard advantage from their amazing punter combined with our below average punter and punt return team.

Shooter: Gopher great Thomas Tapeh will be inducted into the Johnson High Hall of Fame on Monday.

He was a physical runner. Probably some GHolers who played against him in high school here. I bet he was a man among little men.

    Athan Kaliakmanis struggles?

Truth! But he was weirdly off today

SOUND OFF!! Post-Game Thread: Gophers Crush Northwestern, Improve to 7-3.

I thought the Oline played well both in pass protection and run blocking. Front seven on defense got pressure and Jay Joyner even impressed against a potential first round draft pick (left tackle for NW). Felt bad about Nubin causing that injury. He is a clean player and this team in general...

    Athan Kaliakmanis struggles?

He was off but certainly think he could play a good game vs Iowa. It was maybe a probably with gripping the ball in the cold weather? The threat of him running on RPO is a bigger advantage than Tanner possibly being more accurate with his passing.

    rumor out of Madison

Doesn’t want to play the Gophers in the cold for two more years.

Quinn Carroll - Guard or Tackle?

I agree with Bob that Morgan’s lack of mobility and the lack of passing success must make it hard to pass protect. Loved to see Athan rolling out with clean looks and for the most part being really accurate when on the move. That is a huge positive for the offense.

    St Juste

I thought that was a bad call. They were squared up and once the ball was on the way he outmuscled Jefferson for it.

All time gopher team from your time as a fan?

QB: Foggie RB: Mo WR: T Johnson TE: Maxx OL: JMS DL: Hageman LB: Damien Williams DB: AWjr K: Lloyd p: not sure but know we are getting worked currently compared to other teams

    Mo’s Gushers

I hope this happens and I am pretty sure they would sell out in Mn. Maybe General Mills could start doing some cereal partnerships as well (Nubin or Mo on the cover of Wheaties sold in Minnesota?).

Neal: Cornhuskers fans living, cheering in Minnesota were happy, for a half, against Gophers

Does the Pioneer Press still send a beat writer? This is very telling of how things are at the Star Tribune. Makes you wonder what Sir Sid would think?

***OFFICIAL RUTGERS AT MINNESOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Not sure how the offense gets on track, but this guy would love to see it!

    Tyler Johnson released by Texans

Sad to hear this but not surprised as it took a long time for him to be activated and then he wasn't targeted. Since this was on a poor Houston team that had a need at WR, I wonder if he will have a hard time getting picked up?

Our 5 remaining games are all very winnable

I agree completely. There isn't a single receiver besides Spann-Ford that presents a mismatch in single coverage. For the Ciarocca scheme that we know to work, the team has to have the defense respect the threat of passing and if they don't exploit it over the middle. There is not a wideout that...

Hot take: We're just fine, PJ is doing fine.

Was Michigan State not ranked in week 4? I am pretty sure they were.
