I can understand the Vikings wanting a little more experience in the QB room given that their starter has never taken an NFL snap. Story does say that Brosmer will probably end up on the practice squad so will still be in the league and maybe have a shot to catch on with someone else eventually.

Haven't read the full story but glad to hear they aren't planning to spread the revenue sharing super thin. I know a lot of us were concerned that the U would feel obligated to share revenue with non-revenue sports.

Don't know the kid or family but would be shocked to find out the staff was rigid about seeing him as a LB at the next level. They may have been honest in their assessment of him and where they think he would fit best at the college level but there is no way they would say it was a lock because...

It is what they do now in college football to keep on expanding the staff and adding coaches. They make up new job titles.

Well said....just because he failed as a head coach (never should have been hired, wasn't ready at all) doesn't mean he isn't a quality assistant or someone who could earn another shot as a head coach eventually.

I have a hard time calling these day of calls predictions. To me a prediction has some time associated with it, like days/weeks not hours. But for the recruiting guys it is a great way to up their success percentage by waiting until it feels like nearly a done deal to make their "prediction"...

Careful assigning the viewpoints of a vocal minority to the fanbase as a whole. I'm sure there was a lot of denial and hope the allegations were not true but as the facts came out I have a tough time believing the majority of their fans were not horrified and disgusted by what happened.
