    Pierce Petersohn to announce tomorrow!!!

Funny thing to predict 15 months before either would put on a uniform for the home team club. But the timing, coming right after the Voss announcement, would make some sense. But I doubt PSU has an empty, untalented TE room. If the guy isn't a competitor, who needs him?

Sacramento State is hiring Tim Brewster as senior associate head coach.

It's remarkable that this boob continues to find work in football.

The banjos and 'shine jugs will be out and there'll be a big barn dance down at the mill, no doubt.

Gophers 2026 class remains in the top 20 nationally, will it stay there?

Probably I am wasting my time of this is as good as it gets

Gophers 2026 class remains in the top 20 nationally, will it stay there?

I wish I had your glasses. I don't see anything to suggest that our teams will be anything other than mid conference finish at best, beating a diminished Wisconsin team regularly and losing to a mediocre Iowa team regularly.

Gophers 2026 class remains in the top 20 nationally, will it stay there?

So we end up with recruiting classes in the bottom quarter of the conference but infield results are middling. I guess it's better than finishing in line with recruiting rankings but as for me, I'd prefer high recruiting rankings and higher finishes.

Gophers 2026 class remains in the top 20 nationally, will it stay there?

Same question every year. Same result every year. Answer is no.

Amateur College Football Officially Dead: Judge OK's $2.8B settlement, paving way for colleges to pay athletes

Makes one wonder how things are going to shake out at the U. If I was a non revenue coach I'd be prepared for my program to not be there at any day.

Another recruiting tool for coach Fleck? The city of Minneapolis?

Do the statistics show that crime is better, worse or static over the last 5, 10, 20 years?

Amateur College Football Officially Dead: Judge OK's $2.8B settlement, paving way for colleges to pay athletes

Hopefully the U takes into account that nearly all of it's media revenue is football derived, even if it is derived from the OSUs, PSUs, etc, and pays football players accordingly. But this is the U so women's crew participants will be getting $500k per year.

Better to be one of the least sick patients in the ICU.

Big Ten Coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2025 ("if they win nine games or so, he’ll be on the hunt to move.”)

Perfect fit indeed. He is rowing away with a boat load of money, can win 7 or 8 games a year and guys here are talking about building a statue. Why leave?

    Roman Voss

Voss has played a lot of receiver/tight end for JCC in the offensive side of the ball owing to 1. an injury in fall 2023 and 2. Another QB who throws maybe a better ball than Roman. On D he's played defensive back.

"Real" NIL doesn't exist. The money some deep pocketed Col. Sanders who is a fan of some SEC school will throw a lot of money at a play that would trump the peanuts he'd get from Joe's Tires or Betty's greasy spoon for actual endorsement work.

    Utah to B1G?

Let me get this straight - we shouldn't add growing markets because they are deteriorating? We are in a deteriorating market along with the rust belt portion of the big ten.
