How do they make the divisions when OU and Texas arrive? Adding them to the west would make the divide even more.

Let’s remember who was in their division of the Big XII: Kansas, K state, Iowa State, & Missouri. Not exactly a gauntlet of programs. Occasionally one of them would pop up and have a good year, but it was basically the weaklings of the Big 8 that they were beating.

Texas would have to pay TT somewhere around 15-16 million if they want to buyout his contract.

Heard there’s a Texas clause in Beard’s contract that would make UT pay 16 million if Beard leaves TT for UT.
