That is bad. And it seems worse when put that way. Another way to look at it is that the only teams with winning records that Iowa beat is Purdue and us. I don’t need to go back into all the reasons why that could have very easily reversed in our favor. We are not competing with juggernauts...

Is this really true? We were 11-2 in 2019. Would have mostly impacted 2020 recruiting. Those kids come in in 2021 and would likely be redshirt freshmen this year. Where does the drop off from the 11-2 season enter the picture?

Iowa had both Ohio State and Michigan this year and will win the West. It’s a one game difference from this year if you consider we were major dogs against Penn State. Not a death sentence for us.

Whoever drafts TJ6 will have a built in hype film. No matter what round he goes in, even if it’s a first day pick, all they need to do is show the highlights vs. Auburn, one of the best defenses in the nation, and that fan base will be stoked.

By far. We have the best bowl win in the B1G this season. You could argue that this bowl season would be an embarrassment for the B1G without our win. And I can’t believe I am able to say that. Damn, it’s good to be a Gopher football fan these days.

Living in Atlanta, the heart of SEC country, the meaning of this win is extra special to me. The validation the program will get in this area is miles more than the Penn State win. So impressed with the Gophers. Wow.
