Tyler Johnson back on Bucs practice squad

That's what Wikipedia says, three games on a teams active roster, to vest as a good year. I believe that if your on the active roster and inactivated for a game it still counts.

All Things Gophers at North Carolina Road Game Thread (Tips for Flights, Hotels, Bars, Restaurants, Game Tickets & More)

For most NCSU football fans there second favorite team is whoever is playing UNC. I could possibly go visit family and catch the game but traffic and parking will be brutal.

    Tyler Johnson released by Texans

I think that there are enough teams hurting at wr that he may be able to get another chance. Green Bay and the Giants come to mind.

    Tyler Johnson released by Texans

NFL players vest for a small pension, after 3 good years, it takes being on the active roster for 3 games to have a good year. I think that the rate right now is $9000 per good year and you can start collecting at 55. He has two games with the Texans I'm not sure about the Bucs.

    Tyler Johnson released by Texans

He needs to be on the active roster one more game to vest for a pension!

    Refs

Big Ten referees are famous for jobbing the lesser perceived team. I bet that PSU won't get the calls next week against Ohio State

Illini game notes; Gaudin, Butt, Pizzo for BTN

I wonder why Bart Miller's resume doesn't show Minnesota in 2016?

Rumored that Matt Rhule to Lincoln

I don't think that the Penn State job opens up for a few years. If Rhule is truly interested in it I don't think he take a job in the same conference.

    Week 5 Other Games Thread

Iowa #1 Scoring Defense/Michigan #1 Scoring Offense Michigan #7 Scoring Defense/Iowa # 131 Scoring Offense Iowa normally wins the field position battle but I'm not so sure that they can do it against Michigan. I wouldn't be surprised, if it's the Iowa offense that makes the big mistake, a pick...

    Mo in the NFL?

I think that concerns about Mo's pass catching are over stated. He caught two passes against MSU. I believe that by the end of the season, there will be enough tape of Mo as a pass catcher, to satisfy scouts that he's a viable pass catching option. I think that Pittsburgh might be a viable option.

Quick look at remaining opponents after week 4

Here's what I'm hoping for go 12-0, meet the East Champ, then play a great game. Win we're in the CFP, make it a nail biter in losing, we go to the Rose Bowl. The thing we can't do is get dominated.

Did Losing Chris Autman-Bell make Morgan a Better Quarterback.

I don't remember Tanner Morgan distributing the ball around as well as he did against MSU. Is it possible that, not having his go to receiver, is forcing him to be a better Quarterback?

Gophers part ways with wide receiver Donovahn Jones

I believe that, NAIA schools only count years you played, there is no clock per se. If Jones didn't play elsewhere he could have 2 maybe 3 years of NAIA eligibility.

Would we rather be playing Iowa this week?

I completely agree with this, by the end of the season, Iowa's defense will be tired and worn down. That's a formula for injuries, even without injuries, it will show in their performance.

Minnesota at Michigan State line prediction, MSU opens as 3 point favorites

I agree with this! They already have one loss, they are unlikely to win against OSU and Michigan, throw in us and PSU as 50/50, it's easy to see an 8-4 or 7-5 record.

I would like to thank ALL GOPHER fans for pulling for GS win over NB - BUT

When Nebraska has a coach you don't respect, it's easy to pull for the other team, even if it doesn't help you.
