So you would have Correa just give up on the ball and concede a hit. That's a weird juxtaposition to me.

If you read Correa's account of the incident, he said Buxton called him off at last second and he veered one way but Buston, unfortunately, veered same way after catch. Crowd noise had an effect. But don't let facts get in the way of an uninformed opinion.

2025 Big Ten win totals: Projecting the finish for every B1G team (MN: 6.5 wins; Pick: Over 6.5 wins)

I am probably overly optimistic, but think we win 9 games minimum. Have a good feeling about this year. As I've stated before, we have to at least split the NE/Iowa back to back.

These 5 teams could win the Big Ten, but only with a little luck and a lot of help (4. Minnesota)

Agree with that. Only exceptions were Penn State and maybe a couple Sconny games.

Denver Broncos have a view on transfers

Players have much less leverage in the pros than they do in college now. Sure, they can hold out, etc, but it usually gives them very little gain. There is a pay scale for draftees, a collectively signed player agreement, salary cap on teams and smaller rosters. That's why you see so little...

They're going through one of their "struggle to score" periods. Right now, only Correa is hitting with France and Jeffers adding a little.

Big Ten Coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2025 ("if they win nine games or so, he’ll be on the hunt to move.”)

Ever since he got here, opposing coaches and pundits have said he's looking for bigger deals, blueblood, etc, yet here he is - still here how many years later. I do think he likes it here. Has a nice life and a good program with not a ton of external pressure and it would take a big, big...

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

I said it was different. Again, I'm not advocating Johnson sue. All I said, and some of you are taking this much too seriously, is it wouldn't necessarily shock me if some attorney looking for a payday would try to convince him to sue.

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

I said it somewhat facietiously, but I don't put it past anyone not to sue in this litigious society. Not saying he would have a case but have seen people sue with no case before. Heck, know it's different, but Fitzgerald is going to get millions from Northwestern when it's all said in done.

Still No Statement from Ben Johnson

Just speculating, but wonder if he is huddling with lawyers for a wrongful termination lawsuit. Not sure what his case would be, other than he got less time than Lindsey and he didn't get the resources they then gave to Niko.

That would have been a tough loss. Gotta feel good about themselves going into game 2.

Need some weather luck tomorrow (don't think there is any chance they play today) and you could have Paddock finish suspended game and Ryan go the nightcap, followed by day off then Lopez, Ober again and another chance for Matthew's to close out homestand.

Why is Bama suddenly snooping around in MN? Does Deboer have someone on his staff with connections here?

Forecast for tomorrow isn't much better. Maybe trying to somehow get it in between the rain. Like you, though, surprised as they probably waste Ober and Cleveland wastes Allen.
