B1G easily the leading conference with 5/11 teams as well. Go Gophers!
Almost half of the list is B1G teams
I agree, but you have to understand why people are wary of anyone with any sort of injury issues coming off the year we just had when 2 guys never even saw the court due to injury and others were lost for the year.Call me naive, but I got the sense the Grady Winters injury was more about him preserving a year of eligibility than it was a season ending injury. The way he’s talked about on here it sounds like we are taking a paraplegic and hoping he can recover somehow.
He mentioned in that one podcast that it’s something he’s been dealing with for years, but somehow he dealt with it well enough to be the 81st ranked player so maybe it was “locker room talk”. Now he will have the benefit of a college athletic training and rehab program, and nearly a year of rest.
He will have way more opportunity next year and I think he will run with it.
6 out of 14, if you click on the image there is another row with Rutgers and two other teamsB1G easily the leading conference with 5/11 teams as well. Go Gophers!
Guy had a ton of heart too! Couldn't help but pull for himLove the Eric Curry reference. The dude could play!
For sure, but some on here are acting like he'll never play a minute due to a naghing, career ending injury.I agree, but you have to understand why people are wary of anyone with any sort of injury issues coming off the year we just had when 2 guys never even saw the court due to injury and others were lost for the year.
Agree completely. I would also think that coming off a year where 2 of his transfers never saw the court due to injuries (Omot and Stephens) that Niko would be very wary of bringing in anyone who he didn't think could contribute. For sure, but some on here are acting like he'll never play a minute due to a naghing, career ending injury.
Let's call those people a 1 on a 1-10 scale & "there's nothing to even discuss" a 10 on that scale.
I'd put myself at an 7-8.
He played with his issue for years, and at a very high level. It's quite possible that in this era of NIL he essentially took a medical redshirt last year to gain an extra year of earning potential since he wasn't really playing important minutes.
