I was hoping we would get him but he doesnt really fit the bill as a pj tight end. I, personally would like a tight end that could stretch the field, but with Voss coming and some younger guys they must not have felt another tight end was at the top of their needs.

And to add l, I believe fleck has 3 tight ends in the league, so they must be doing something right in terms of development at that position

I’m sure that Luke will do a good job. We should be looking for the next Ko Kieft. He was a devastating blocker, who spring the outside for us a lot!

This guy is going on the Big Ten tour

Seeing players attend 5 schools over the course of their college career is insane. What a weird time in college athletics.

And the sad part is that when it is all said and done a guy like this will probably have attended all these different schools for free and have nothing to show for it with the exception of whatever pay for play money he was able to accumulate while bouncing from place to place. Because you know in cases like this academics are not even in the equation.

I give Williams agent a good chunk of credit for his return to the Huskies. I think the agent dumping him knocked some sense into him. And UW gets the rest of the credit for not releasing him to the Transfer Pool and threatening him with a lawsuit.
Was probably a shock to Williams when he found out that he couldn't just sign a contract for 5 million dollars and then just have everyone be cool with him deciding to transfer a few days later because Kiffin was willing to offer more.

What a clown show. I'm glad Washington didn't just roll over and made it clear they would fight this.

Kenneth Williams, Nebraska's all-Big Ten return specialist enters transfer portal.

Never thought I'd see the day when a college football player would be referred to as a "journeyman"......strange times.
Transfers used to be fairly rare.....now it is almost surprising when a player hasn't transferred at least once if not multiple times.

I think big name transfers were rare for sure.

But mid and low level players transferred before the rule changes, we just didn't talk about it and yeah you wouldn't get them with a history of like 5 schools, but transferring itself at mid to and more so low level players was common enough. Difficult conversations and teams making room was "common".
