Word from my Michigan buddy is Jeff Brohm flew to Ann Arbor immediately following the Bush’s Beans Bowl in Boca today to interview for the UM job.
I liked Tim Brewster, but I don’t want him to be the head coach of any of my teams. Likability is about 10th on the list of factors that matter.Biff Poggi embraces interim role, says return to sideline 'sparked' desire for Michigan’s top coaching job
" When asked what he believes is the top-selling point he offers over other candidates, Poggi delivered a simple, yet pointed response."Because I know what the hell I'm doing."
How could you not like this guy? I heard the players really like him.

Despite limited Power Four coaching experience, Michigan interim coach Biff Poggi says the job has “sparked" his desire to lead the Wolverines full time.www.foxnews.com
I assume if he takes it Brian gets the Louisville job. Kind of a win win for the family...Word from my Michigan buddy is Jeff Brohm flew to Ann Arbor immediately following the Bush’s Beans Bowl in Boca today to interview for the UM job.
He knows what he's doing? He's 66 and had one head coaching job and went 6-16.Biff Poggi embraces interim role, says return to sideline 'sparked' desire for Michigan’s top coaching job

I could not believe his background.Hire Poggi….do it Michigan. Home run!
I bet that will be an "explosive" interview after eating all those beans.Word from my Michigan buddy is Jeff Brohm flew to Ann Arbor immediately following the Bush’s Beans Bowl in Boca today to interview for the UM job.
Did you see that cauldron of beans they had post-game? The plane probably had to make an emergency stop somewhere in Tennessee to drop payload.I bet that will be an "explosive" interview after eating all those beans.

Hopefully he wasn't too gassyWord from my Michigan buddy is Jeff Brohm flew to Ann Arbor immediately following the Bush’s Beans Bowl in Boca today to interview for the UM job.
Michigan hiring an Urban Meyer acolyte would bring me an unnatural level of amusement.Looks like Kyle Whittingham. If true, that's a good hire.

I can just see the president of the university reading the 70th story about abortions and OnlyFans models and finally snap and say "Go hire a G D Mormon".Looks like Kyle Whittingham. If true, that's a good hire.

On the other hand they had enough fuel to fly to Japan.Did you see that cauldron of beans they had post-game? The plane probably had to make an emergency stop somewhere in Tennessee to drop payload.
Is this the guy Michigan fans want? Pretty underwhelming lately in soft big 12. But, I suppose much better resources with the wolverines.Looks like Kyle Whittingham. If true, that's a good hire.

To any Michigan fan who discovers that Whittingham has the stench of Urban Meyer on him, even after just 2 years, he’s an acolyte. I’m not sure you understand the deep hatred Michigan fans have for Meyer and everything he’s touched.Urban Meyer acolyte?
Witt had been the DC at Utah since back in 1995. Meyer's two year pitstop in SLC was 2003 & 04.
Took over HC from there and never let it go. It's a bizarre hire to me.

I think Michigan fans pretend to hate Meyer because they want to say his success at tOSU is tainted but they would also take him in a heartbeat. If they had any shot at Kiffin, they'd have taken him.To any Michigan fan who discovers that Whittingham has the stench of Urban Meyer on him, even after just 2 years, he’s an acolyte. It actually isn't that far-fetched to imagine that scenario.I can just see the president of the university reading the 70th story about abortions and OnlyFans models and finally snap and say "Go hire a G D Mormon".
I wonder what UM does with Poggi, he had some pretty blunt statements about the program
Probably just fire him? Doubt the new guy wants him around.I wonder what UM does with Poggi, he had some pretty blunt statements about the program
They realized early they couldn't pry him away from the U so why waste time trying...Wait, with Michigan hiring Whittingham, does that mean they’re no longer interested in PJ?
