***OFFICIAL MINNESOTA VS SAN FRANCISCO IN SOUTH DAKOTA IN-GAME THREAD!!!***

Positive of the second half is they have stopped settling for threes, taken it to the hoop, and have drawn fouls.
Not ideal when the guy being aggressive in crunch time is your SG who shoots under 50%. Just unacceptable.

This team is hard to watch. 15-30 free throws. What a joke

The only thing I have liked in this game is a little more action in the 2nd half posting JCJ up low. They have to have some sort of post up game to survive games in the Big Ten. Ugly game though.

Are we allergic to free points. Cmon

Money wins. Can't win at a high level with mediocre talent.

Besides maybe volleyball (who has four starters out with year end injuries and still nationally ranked) how can the U be awful in every sport? It makes it so hard to be a fan in general. I wish I was a billionaire to provide funds.

He just said Beasley was 5-11.
He’s 5-9 max.

He's a great ball handler; he can create his own shot, create shots for others, and he can defend. Any other stupid questions?
I don't see much of that.
He tries hard.

Their guards are just a lot better than ours are. 2 kids recruited out of HS, a part time starter at Portland, and someone who couldn't get off the bench at Oregon.

Our best guard is also unplayable down the stretch if we do happen to be leading bc he can't make a FT

Looks like the next win will be in 3 weeks.

Hard to believe that our FT% is again heading for the bottom with a whole new group of players. After today we are at 65% for the year- that's just incredibly bad for a major college team.
