See I think the TV guy was wrong though. To establish possession you need to make a football move.Never seen a play exactly like it so I think the league will have to review what “re”gaining possession in the end zone means, but once they ruled he regained possession for one step in the end zone it is a TD, the ball is dead and he can’t “fumble it again.” Begrudgingly on watching the replay multiple times I think they’d have to say he regained it with both hands on the ball and one foot down.
Yeah ok…Wow the percentage of idiots that post here is amazing… Thank you to the few non morons .. honestly
The rules of recovering a fumble are the same as making a catch. That would have been ruled an incomplete pass if he was catching it instead of recovering a fumble. He recovered and had possession in the end zone it's a TD had our guy hustled he could have recovered
I made this argument late Saturday then I had some smart a$$ say to me “tell me you don’t know the rules without telling me”.Yeah ok…
The thing from this play people should be most upset about is the fact that our entire defense had the guy swarmed and he slipped out.
Embarrassing play all around. Defense can’t tackle…check. RB fumbles TWICE…check. Clearly incorrect replay ruling…check. The thing from this play people should be most upset about is the fact that our entire defense had the guy swarmed and he slipped out.
YesWas this a fumble?
Not one person went for the legsThat's why I really find it hard to get worked up about it even one iota.
