Predict the Score Thread: Minnesota at Oregon

41-10 Oregon wins

I cannot even believe the depth of my disappointment for this team when it comes to playing on the road.

At least show up!!!

Please, no more Northwestern State in the non-conference schedule.

Q1: Minnesota 10, Oregon 0
Q2: Minnesota 17, Oregon 7
Q3: Minnesota 20, Oregon 14
FINAL: Minnesota 23, Oregon 21

I think the only real way we can plausibly win this game is if we start strong. Make huge plays on defense, and none of Drake's slow starts. Ultimately will probably need at least one turnover to win in addition to a couple more 50/50s that go our way. Defense will need to play up to par with the Nebraska game, offensive line the best of the season, and Darius Taylor will need to return to form. If these things align, we CAN compete and win.

Based on how we've played on the road against quality teams I dont have a ton of confidence...I think the Ducks cover the 22.5 points. IT DT is HEALTHY and plays the whole game I would be more like a 34-23 loss with the Gophers covering. But I don's have any reason to believe that will happen.

Oregon 41
MN 13

Gophers 13
Oregon 56

Oregon went to Rutgers and beat em 56-10.
Gophers and Rutgers are similar teams this year.
The road is not our friend. This is gonna be bad.

Oregon a little dinged up, coming off a tough road game on a short week, DT might play (please), Gophers off a bye. I'll say closer than OSU and Iowa, but not a happy outcome:

Oregon 34
MN 17

Oregon is the #6 rated rushing team in the country at 240 yd ppg and 6.4 ave. They ran for 261 and 7.3 against the Hogeyes. Yikes!

This could get ugly fast. Turnovers are our only hope, something we are really bad at.
