Are U not Entertained? I’m old enough to remember Years with no bowl eligibility! So, it ain’t Prime Rib, but it also ain’t Swiss Steak

I too remember the really awful years, so I’m glad for every win. Here’s my greatest puzzlement: How can we have this awful of an offensive line? I can understand that we lose recruiting battles for the flashy skilled guys, but it seems to me that there’s no excuse for being this bad up front on offense. Any thoughts on that? Am I off base?

Problem is no Gopher fan under 80 ever gets prime rib. The best we ever get is meatloaf from Perkins
Maybe in your universe, but not so in mine, friend.

2014 Season Playing in a New Years Day Bowl (1/1/2015), which I never thought would happen in my lifetime.

2019 Season Playing in a New Years Day Bowl (1/1/2020) And Winning, which I never thought would happen in my lifetime.

That's 2 in five years, 40%, I wonder how many other programs accomplished that feat during those five years.

Watching Barber & Maroney romping over defenses.

Watching Greg Esslinger win the Outland Trophy.

Watching Tyronne Carter win the JIm Thorpe Award,

Watching Matt Spaeth win the John Mackey Award,

Watching us, in person, upset #2 PSU in Happy Valley as Danny Nystrom, split the uprights as time expired. Then me and my buddy draped a Gopher flag over Joe Pa's statue outside the stadium.

That's succulent Prime Rib baby!

Maybe you're a younger fan, under 50, still tends to be on the hyperbolic side?

Cheers!

One of the reasons why I would be worried about moving on from Fleck. I am sad when we don't get a bowl game. Even if it's a crappy bowl game in a crappy town against a crappy team.
I agree, but I don't see Coyle wanting to do that, as he hired Fleck, he produces a consistent product with no issues off field, the players go to school/graduate an he's a great Ambassador for the U.

I can see a playoff berth in the future, if Drake continues to develop and there' significant overall improvement in his junior/senior season.

Obviously, lots of things have to break right, but if you don't have the right QB, you got no chance. I think for the first time in the recent past, we have the right QB.

I'm gonna stay optimistic.

Your prime rib has marks from where the jockey was hitting it.
