It’s OK when an opponent is gracious enough to mutually feel out the Gophs in the beginning. But the discourteous one, like Iowa this year, who beat the tar out of us, and effectively end the game during this quiet period are a real bother.

The lines to get in the stadium were sparse and the student section is only half full in lower level 30 min out. The Iowa game took the wind out of the sails. No surprise

Reading some MSU fan comments they are peeved Smith chased out Sam Leavitt in favor of his boy Chiles. Leavitt went on to a very good season at ASU last year (not as great this year).
