Terrible that a coach would set expectations. How dare he. And 99.99 percent chance that wasn't the reason.

Kill had a large doghouse btw so it's not like it isn't a thing that almost every coach has anyway.
Well, I heard from my uncle's cousin's neighbor's barber that he heard from his girlfriend's sister's nephew's bartender that that is probably 1003% right. :ROFLMAO:

I suspect that Fleck figured that the true freshmen (Ford and Washington) wouldn't get much playing time so they should be redshirted. That probably was the right idea at the beginning of the season.

He played both of them against Iowa. That was their second game. He may decide to pull the redshirts from one or both of them.
They both have 3 games to play 2 and keep their redshirts, bowl games don’t count.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see them play 1 in the MSU game but not Northwestern, for example, and the other would play in a different game to get them both to 4 games and both keep their redshirts.

We have 4 left not 3 before a potential bowl game. I don't think they will worry too much about a redshirt, if they feel like the freshman are their best options they will play them.

Math is hard when I have to count higher than 2.

If you haven’t been paying attention, redshirts have zero significance anymore. It’s 5 years to play 5 years.
FWIW
