Delusion is part of the fun of being a Fanagree here. Can we at least modify the title of this thread to not seem so delusional?
As poignant as your puck postsTeams competing for titles = Teams with lots of money
Regardless of the reason, if he's good enough he ends up at one of those.
Do you know what many rich people want? More money.
Man do some people not understand what being competitive means which is to want to win big games and titles.there's no major incentive for Drake to leave outside of dollar signs
Okay, explain it to an incompetent like me, Copernicus. Remember, I'm a simple layman who doesn't understand the intricacies of competitive football unlike you, a reputable contributor of thought provoking message board content.Man do some people not understand what being competitive means which is to want to win big games and titles.
Can we afford a first draft day prospect next year?
DT has to take a team friendly deal, or yea, you gotta let him walk. He can't stay healthy. It's a real bummer, but he has a case of Buxton-itisYou thank DT for his service and let him walk; much easier to replace a RB than find another The Drake
In all seriousness:
JJ is rapidly approaching "it doesn't matter how talented he is... if he doesn't play".
He isn't there yet, but he is approaching that problem.... with gusto.
Man do some people like to extrapolate from what some people want or value to other people they have never met.Man do some people not understand what being competitive means which is to want to win big games and titles.
True on the need for money, but the other element is playing for a helmet school increases a player's exposure. That can be either good or bad, but it has to be considered.Drake’s family doesn’t need money. Even several million is not impactful for them. He’ll play where he wants. Most people need NIL money. He does not.

Definitely one of the biggest areas he needs to work on still and one of my biggest concerns for the game this Saturday. He hasn't looked comfortable when asked to run or try to escape the pocket.Lindsey's biggest knock eventually will be his lack of athleticism. A QB who can run is the new norm in the NFL. Ones that can't are the anomaly. Drake should watch tapes of Big Ben, similar bodies and games, but Ben had great footwork in the pocket to avoid the rush.

100%. The downside of getting more exposure is that the player opens themselves up to more scrutiny and every mistake is seen by a larger audience.Absolutely. I wouldn’t be stunned if he left. But the grass isn’t always greener. If he went to a helmet school and struggles, or gets replaced, then what? At Minnesota a lot of struggles can be put on the team around him, etc. And the odds of a better QB coming in are very slim.
