What is Drake Lindsey's ceiling? 1st RD pick?

pure speculation on my part. you really think we have the NIL $$ to hold onto Drake, DT AND Koi for another year? Heck, even PJ mentioned it on the radio show last week, how the Blue Bloods will come circling soon.
You thank DT for his service and let him walk l; much easier to replace a RB than find another The Drake

Whoah, Nellie. Whoah.

I really like Lindsey and all, but a bunch of us thought AK was a top draft pick after the 2022 Whiskey win too. Give the young man some time to make mistakes and develop!

That said, he sure does look like the real deal!

agree here. Can we at least modify the title of this thread to not seem so delusional?

I wrote something like this in another thread. How about we let the kid play a few games before we elect him to Canton.

Drake’s family doesn’t need money. Even several million is not impactful for them. He’ll play where he wants. Most people need NIL money. He does not.

Yeah, carving up the Rutgers defense is one thing, will be a different animal this week. I think that, while fun, 1st round pick is very premature. Hell around here there could be calls for the Shikster in 2 weeks!

Way too paranoid. Can we wait until we actually start to consistently lose proven players before we full on panic? I think most would agree we are an ways ahead as far as gains vs losses in the portal.

There genuinely seem to be posters that are bothered whenever someone shows any sort of optimism or hope for the future.

They feel the need to provide a constant reality check or find a way to dwell on all the things that could potentially go wrong.

To each their own I guess but that seems like a really crappy way to go through life to me.

I get what you’re saying but this is literally every professional, tradesmen, coach, player everywhere every day (or they are terrible in their position of responsibility).

IMO two things are true: Drake has shown incredible mental and physical ability in his first handful of starts, and unless Drake explicitly defers/shows his palms to the money men it would be malpractice to not offer him competitive wages. Nobody should be taken for granted.

The portal is the best thing ever when we get guys.

It's pure evil when we lose guys.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

No way will I go back and read all the posts regarding Drake being a first round NFL pick after an outstanding game against.................Rutgers. Is this all some people have to do but spend time to post on such............hope!

Hey, I really like his potential but can we just take a deep breath and let this thing play out.
