2026 Gopher Recruits

If nothing else, she could become a situational rim protector against teams that are adept at driving. Best case, she does that plus offers some offensive capabilities and can make the rotation in sophomore year.

. . .
ESPN has Natalie at #47 and Tori at #62
247 has Natalie at #26 and Tori at #36
Very nice start...

Interested to see if Kussow pops back up in the ESPN rankings this fall. Perhaps more than any other top 50 recruit in the '26 class, Kussow has moved down in several rankings. She went from 16 (January) to 20 (April) to 47 (June) in ESPN's ratings. She went from 18 (last winter) to 36 (July) in Prospects Nation's rankings. She went from 22 (May) to 35 (August) in ON3/Rivals' rankings.

Since her decline in ESPN's rankings, the ESPN ranker has included her on his list (top left box) of "2026 National Prospects who showed significant improvements this summer." Wonder if she is due for a ratings rebound.

I really don't understand the Adit Kuol offer; but, that's why I don't get paid the big bucks. Go Gophs!
For many Bigs, it is hard to evaluate their skills unless they have a high school team that is built around them or built on a strong defensive scheme. So many high school coaches focus on guards and three point shooting, unless they are stacked full of talent. College coaches need to evaluate them in person through their own viewing, using their own standards of what they are looking for.

I’m happy to eat my own words and apologize if I’m wrong; but, I’ll put money on the table that she doesn’t see playing time.
